Panthers rookie goalie, 1st game, OT loss. Kid looked good, though.
Panthers here Tuesday, hope Sheahan doesnt bite the Pens in the ass the way Sheary did the other night.
They'll prolly go into OT-meaning the Panthers will get another point(or 2?), keeping hope alive among Cat fans for a few more days, then handing us our usual disappointment with about 3 days left in the season.
Twas an interesting week for Pens fans.

No fear, they have a Sheahen but we've got a Bjugstad. I'll take our new guy over their new guy any day of the week.
Since moving Brassard already, I'm guessing the Panthers would want a do-over on this trade. Time will tell how those draft picks they received play out.
Clocks change Sunday. Dunno if that'll help or hurt.
Aaaand once again, the Cats snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

Sullivan is racking up the minutes for Murray.
Dumoulin returns from his concussion with a -1. I didn't see this game, so I'm not sure how he looked.

I just saw the last few minutes of the second and all of the third, but Dumoulin looked fine, moving the puck well. Sid had another strong performance and Geno was, well, Geno. Had some moments of brilliance along with some moments of sleepwalking. First time I'd seen Gudbranson in a Pens uni...gotta admit, he's a much better skater and more mobile than I remember from his days in Florida. I expected another Hal Gill but instead was pleasantly surprised.

I missed the game last night too.
Man, Guentzel is a finisher, I wish Kessel and even Geno sometimes had his 'just go for it' attitude. This team would be unstoppable.
Sid's perfectly flipped pass was pretty sweet too.
