As a Lightning fan, my daughter can't forgive CBJ for eliminating the Bolts. I, too, am a 'Ning fan, but they beat themselves IMO.
I don't think anyone is anxious to play the Jackets right now.
I knew they were going to win when I heard Wilbon say the Jackets were going to be 0 - 3 after tonight.

I don't go to ESPN for my NHL talk, since they have virtually none.
C'bus is flat-out beating the snot out of the Bruins. I don't think - I hope - that the Bostons won't have anything left physically to come back in the series. Especially now that the off days will be coming less often and recovery times coming shorter. The first round sweep was a huge benefit to CBJ, despite the rust in the first game, and the 7 game series a drag on the Bruins.
I definitely think that the longer the series goes the less chance the bruins have to come out ahead.

Some things never change. Despite being a good citizen most of the time lately, this kind of stuff is totally unnecessary and classless. Punching a guy in the back of the head while he's down on the ice.

Short of Marchand going full Last Boy Scout during a game 7 overtime I don't think there is anything he could do that would surprise me.
I had a thought last night that as much as I want to watch the Sharks lose and never win a cup and keep Sharking out in the playoffs forever, the more rational part of me realized that the only way that I am going to get over that ridiculous Eakin penalty that sparked the total collapse of the Knights inevitable 2019 Stanley Cup victory conquest is for the Sharks to see it to the end and actually win the cup. Therefore, even the tiny 8 year old little boy hockey fan in the corner of my brain could finally stop punching and kicking and screaming "they got screwed!!!" and would have to accept that the Sharks were in fact the better team this year. So do I have to root for the Sharks now just to get closure?

Mrazek...latest is he's definitely out for game 3, but they haven't yet said in or out for game 4.

I'm surprised no one took Nelson out after tapping McElhinney on the head after his goal.
I was listening to the Justin Williams interview after the game. When asked how they pulled off the 3-0 lead, he talked about how the players all believe in each other. I can't say I heard anyone from the Pens talking like that all season. Maybe I missed it though.
