In all fairness, those first three Finals were the result of the 1967 expansion, and all the Original Six teams were in the East, while all the expansion teams were aligned in the West. So basically, somebody had to represent the West and become mincemeat for the Canadiens and Bruins. Thankfully they reshuffled the divisions a bit in 1970 and had more balance come the postseason. But yeah, the Blues were the 'best of the worst', and had to endure their indoctrination in a most unmemorable way.I heard one of the broadcasters say that going into last nights game STL was 0-13 in SCF games, so now 1-13? Is that for real? I was not aware that they had been there three times before much less gotten swept every time. That win last night has to be a huge, huge monkey off their back.
