Matthews is awesome but wasn't a fan of him stirring the pot and then being the last guy standing with his gloves still on and stick in hand. He is huge. Get involved. Show the fans you are as pissed as they are. Just my opinion.

It would surprise me if Babs ever coaches again in the NHL! His tactics just won't work with today's players.
Dubas has built a team based on "skill" and toughness be damned. Well, that system may well work on paper, but skill only will not win against skill and toughness. You can have regular season success, but once the playoffs start, skill only goes so far. It's a game of attrition, where the strong survive.

I sure as heck don't want Matthews dropping the gloves and punching an opponents helmet!
In my mind, that incident was the best team building exercise i have seen so far this season.

Here we go again...beat the 2 teams with the best records in the NHL on back to back nights with their third string goalie, but pull an 0 for 5 against the bottom feeders....sigh....
That was a great game, Halak played great in not surprised he was so mad after the OT loss. Great goal by the wings to end it... But then again I'm a Wings fan.

Hall of Fame game tonight...always enjoy the pre-game ceremony at that one. On a side note, do you know why the Hockey Hall of Fame is in Toronto? So Leaf fans can see the Stanley Cup too!

The change in coverage has made it nearly impossible to keep up with the teams I wanna watch. I'm in the Panthers coverage area, so I can't get the Lightning unless they're on a network (ESPN, NHL, TNT) feed. I continue to cheer for both Florida teams 'til one or the other blows it. Tonight they both won(Yay!).
I may hafta look into a 'package'.
