Paul Collins has been touring constantly for the past couple of years. Well known in LA.
Blodwyn Pig was a spin-off of sorts from Jethro Tull; BP guitarist/leader Mick Abrams was JT's first guitarist who butted heads with Ian Anderson when IA wanted to move away from the blues/jazz sound of the first album. BP members went on to work with Savoy Brown and Brand X(if I'm not mistaken). BP was huge in St. Louis, where the big FM rock station(KSHE)adopted the pig's head graphic for their logo. Speaking of St. Louis, that's where Pavlov's Dog was from, and they made quite a mark on FM radio for a while, especially in the midwest. Yes/King Crimson drummer Bill Buford actually guested on their second album. Always heard them on the long-range AM radio station KAAY, from Little Rock, AR, during the late night underground show, 'Beeker Street'. I saw them open up for Kraftwerk, of all bands, in Tulsa, OK, in 1974. Now, being originally from Kansas City, MO, I have to mention the first 'hippie' band I saw live from the area, they actually got one album out, The Mystic Number National Bank...
Shooting Star is a home town band. They played at my junior high back in the late 70's before they were called Shooting Star. They are very well known in my area and still get played on the classic rock station. Technically they are not a 70's band since their debut album was realeased in 1980.

Just discovered these guys recently. I have a Pandora station for Budgie and they rotated through. I like them quite a bit. The track posted above isn't one of my favorites that I've heard (they are on Spotify).
Emperor. Late 70s. Not sure if they're on YouTube. 1 self titled album produced by Kenny Kerner and Richie Wise (Kiss, Gladys Knight) and engineered by Warren Dewey (Boston). A couple good songs; Dreamer and I'm Alive. They were popular locally in So CA. Ran into them at a bar in Long Beach recently. Now called The Emperors and doing great work as a cover band.
NYRRE keyboardist Michael Kamen went on to do rock orchestral scoring; his crowning achievement was the strings on Pink Floyd's "Comfortably Numb", but he also did the score for the Metallica and SFO album. Passed away not too long ago; Lenny Kravitz covered the one song of NYRRE that came the closest to being any kind of a hit, "Fields Of Joy".
