The Pens are making a great run without Crosby. If he comes back, the SC is theirs. Without him, they are legit contenders.

Sad though it is, you have to caveat the 'if he comes back' part with 'if he comes back and is able to stay healthy enough to contribute meaningfully'.
That too. I think they'll go deep without him though. As I've been saying, I think he's done.

Yup, hockey is a sport that is helped greatly with hd. No glowing pucks or not seeing the puck. Hd translates hockey perfectly and makes it easy for new fans to follow the game.
I hope Crosby is back and stays, or else the Pens are going to have one of the most difficult decisions in the history of hockey at the end of the year.

Well, you'll probably enjoy it. I think the Flyers are 0-2-1 against the Jets this year. Can't seem to beat the Jets or the Rangers.
If he is loyal to the team and he isn't ready to play, he would resign at the league minimum with no performance bonuses.

I paid for CI this season, but I don't think I will next year unless all games are HD. It's really mean to tease fans with just one or two.
What's worse is NHLN up here. I could get it in HD in Washington, but not where I live now. To make it worse, when they do broadcast games they squeeze it down so the sides are all black and a couple inches on each side are missing. Lame, lame, lame.

I have to get it or I'll barely be able to watch my flyers since I live in ohio. I get it every year. I wish they would just sell me the flyers in hd instead of every game in the league. That would be better then how they do it now.
The Avs send Kyle Quincey to Tampa for Steve Downie. Tampa promptly sends him to Detroit for a 1st round pick. All the while I'm setting here pulling my ****ing hair out. I'm sick and tired of my team getting swindled.

I'm really bummed that Downie is with Detroit now. He's one of my least favorite players in the league, and it was easy to hate him in Tampa Bay, since they're a division rival of the Caps. I'm no Detroit fan by any means, but I like the way they run their team and play the game, so I root for them on occasion. Definitely not interested in seeing them win with Downie though.... :scowl:
Tampa screwed way worse than Avs. Downie is super gritty, works boards hard, you guys will love him. TB got a pick guaranteed to be in the 25-30 range for Downie. Downie is worth way more than that.
