Has anyone had any problems with the newer ATK750's?

...I'm stringing it through the body. This might sound really weird but i dont really know how to string the bass through the bridge. Cant find the string hole :s. This is weird because my old bass was an only through-bridge design lol .

If you look at the following photo, you will see that the the top of the hole in the bridge (circled in green) is smaller than the bottom of the same hole (circled in yellow). To string through the bridge, from the front (not through the back of the instrument) insert the ball end through the area circled in yellow about 3mm and then slide the ball up into the area circled in green. This will cause the ball to catch beneath the plate of the bridge.

Hey guys, I'm new here, but I have an ATK 3EX1, the black guitar center model, and the neck is kinda messed up. The G and D strings buzz on frets 9-14. I just called my guy there and they ordered me an ATK750 Figured Koa to replace it. Has anyone had any problems with the newer ATK750's?

Wow, another messed up Guitar Center model. Unless they are just shuffling the same messed up model store to store. I'm glad I finally got mine in good working condition.

Yeah, it seems to me though like it was messed up because it was sitting at guitar center for too long, not because it was messed up in the first place...

What kind of pickup does the atk have?

It has it's own pickup that only the ATK has. I believe Bassculture makes a replacement. It's kinda like a 3 coil musicman pickup

Good news! Yes, I do plan on hanging onto my 4- and 5-string USA Custom ATK's, a well as the 750.

ATK100 - PASSIVE dual coil pickup (no dummy coil), only single coil and humbucker switch positions

How do the ATKs sound through the Bergie 12s?

Pretty much all the ATK750KOA's look very similar, and yes, I'd love to see one in a 5-string, too.

The ATK's just kill through those Berg's. That is a stack of AE112's and a stack of HT112 ER's behind them.

I haven't seen mention of Eric Czar on here who toured with Joe Bonamassa and can be heard on most of Joe's albums playing an ATK. They recently sold one of Eric's ATKs on ebay. Czar is absolutely awesome. He is playing the ATK in both of Joe's live videos.
