Reading through the Barefaced comments it seems like they tend to run a bit longer on production than they estimated. Seems some users wait a long time for their cabs. Are they very very popular/busy?
Mine got delivered to the other side of the planet within a week last year. perhaps things have changed?
Depends. It's a small operation and it wasn't long ago that they moved operations facility, and were down an employee, and just introduced the 10" cabs, and were preparing to release the FR800 units. They had a few times in that period where deliveries weren't as quick as you'd hope. Things tend to run shockingly fast for international shipment. Of course, that generally involves shipping by plane, which you don't generally want happening at a leisurely pace.
I will say this though, once the cab is built and in the hands of Fedex it was astonishing the speed my two cabs were delivered from Brighton, UK to Austin, TX! 24 hrs (yes HOURS) for both!
Can be. Lol. But the ending is usually a good one. My situation was rare. If you read through folks experiences, there is a very high success rate. Fast service.
Mine was in stock so it arrived fairly quickly.There was, however, a delay in finding my payment. I see others have experienced this. If you are in the US you pay an intermediary and have to wait for them to notify Barefaced that the payment has cleared. In my case they couldn't figure out that Randolph was Randy so my money sat for a while. It was frustrating because it was clearly sent to Barefacved and there can't be a whole lot of Randolphs or Randys ordering a cabinet in the US at any given time. Once it was sorted out the cabinet shipped overnight.
Had my second rehearsal with a new band last night. Brought my Barefaced Super Twin and an Orange Terror Bass 500. I was so loud, but so crystal clear. Afterwards the guitarist looked at the Barefaced and said: "Man, that thing sounds great! Every note is so defined and clear. I can hear everything you play."

The Four10 I ordered on Jan 5th shipped within 3 weeks like Alex promised, so I had no issues with shipping delays.
I ordered my BB2 on January 20 and was told 2-3 weeks and we are on week 7, just another data point.
I order a Super Twin on or near the same day. They didn't give me an exact time frame; just said "a couple of weeks." I hope we are in the home stretch.
As I read through this thread it would appear as if the 10 inch versions have seen a quicker turnover. Perhaps it's an assembly thing or perhaps the 12's are in higher demand? Not sure but my BB2's took nearly 8 weeks. Absolutely worth the wait however. Very happy with them.
My SC took 7 weeks. One10 was maybe 4 weeks. Again, totally worth it, but I know the waiting seems endless when the anticipation is high.
Can't they just 3-d print cabs and jam them through one of those internet tubes?
I'm starting to feel like there isn't one. It is a small company and their workflow varies greatly.
I might be wrong, but I don't recall hearing anyone say they had longer than an 8 week wait. For sanity's sake, I'd just assume 8 weeks and then be excited when it comes in only 6 or 7. My favorite part that helps as an emolument to the pain of waiting, is that I generally get my product within 24 hours of receiving the first notice from BF that it's shipping. THAT feels good.
I have an MBF 800 which I really like but also find the upper mids and highs a bit harsh. Seems there are several players finding the GK heads a good match with a Super Twin. I've always had cabs with tweeters or mid drivers but then use the passive tone knob to taste. If clarity is good through the mids to low treble that should be enough. Gotta try one of these.
