I never got billed...so I guess mine was no charge! For all Barefaced speaker cabs, the duty for import to the US is 5%.

Question for those with experience...can a cab like the super twin really come close to the volume of an 8x10? I would love to have a smaller cabinet that can give me similar headroom/volume as my Ampeg 810. The head I'm using is the Mesa D800.

I bought 2 of Alex's 1x12" cabs expecting to have to use both most of the time but to this day I've only done it once. And even then it was just because I could. 2 of the 12" drivers, such as in the super twin will easily match or outpace pretty much anything and is way more volume than anyone short of a doom band with no PA would ever need.
Tone is subjective, volume is pretty much fact. Everyone needs different amounts of volume granted, but even the reviewers who dislike BF for any number of reasons never complain that they lack volume.

I took the plunge and ordered a Super Twin following an email discussion with Alex, which arrived today. Sounds amazing in the short time I've had to play with it so far. Throwing it straight into a gig tonight and can't wait to hear it in anger!
