Hey all......geez, you guys are hardcore.....part 13 eh?

I played a skyline Glaub the other day......a used one for just over 5 bills. I was so impressed with the bass...I haven't played a Lakland in a while and this one was really great.

So, does Lakland make a 5 string PJ yet? 34" scale?

the BG5 was just released as a US model recently and a Skyline model is in the works....check out: Link Removed for more info.

the Glaub is a SWEET bass! you can get a P converted to a P/J for a reasonable fee at most Luthiers....

the scale on all Lakland 5ers is 35".....that is how they get the B to ring as true as it does.....

Peace:

Doug

Yeah, this is the one that put Teal over the top for me... just think if we could've gotten the blocks ;)

L to R: Skyline JO5 PJ5 (3TS, Nordstrand P/U, J-Retro); USA JO5 Olympic white (Alder Body), Skyline DJ5 (Black on Black Swamp Ash Body, Nordstrand Pickups).

I'm debating on taking the j-retro out and having the stable be all passive. Any input?

nice collection!!!

The P/J 5er is very enticing......what pickup is the P?

I am thinking of swapping out my Jretro as well...I LOVE it, but passive J is calling to me!!!
