I used to have a '64 P-Bass too, the first real bass I ever had, just another bass i wish I still had...Hey Henry say hi to Roger for me.......

Mark My 64 is the real deal, It was trashed, Like the Tele well maybe not as bad but close, And I had it restored back to it's original FiestaRed/Nitro finish click here THis is the complete restoration blog,, I'm bringing him the Tele bass tomorrow morning!!!! I can't wait! Any idea what the original finish was on that Tele? I'm having it shot in the rare Candy Apple Red,, There is traces of that color on the bass?

Hey Henry, I can't remember what finish it was when I got it, maybe natural ?? since I had it it's been yellow, white with red paint splattered all over it, that might be what your seeing on it now, all rattle can paint jobs, never got around to giving it a good paint job....Candy Apple Red will be hot can't wait to see it..

This bass hasn't been used... It's exactly in the same conditions as it was when it left the factory 44 years ago.

I'm probably not alone here in thinking that's utterly tragic. Still, that will make a nice nest-egg for your retirement, should fetch a good price with all the case candy!

I'd say you'd have enough P-basses once you've covered all colors in a Pantone swatchbook... or all colors covered in a PC's 24 bit color setting.
