The MiniMax looks pretty interesting too!

Great video on the capability of the megabass! So, I've been scouring these Peavey threads, gassing for some old-school Peavey. I have a few questions, and this seems like the right thread. First, there is a Megabass amp on the bay right now, $140 shipped, seems like an awesome deal, but no power cord included? Makes me wonder how they know it's fully functional, and why an amp owner doesn't have the cord. What do you think? Second, if you had to pair this with only one cab, either a 2x10 or 1x15, what gets me the most volume? The Peavey 2x10 looks nice, but I have only used 1x15 in the past. Right now I have a GK mb115, good but not enough volume. I also have my eye on a Peavey Combo 300, used from GC. Thanks for the advice. -Brad
OK, thanks for the info. Somebody else snapped up the Combo 300 from GC, so I may go with the mega. I just might take you up on that power cord deal (I'd pay of course) if I get the amp. Stay tuned! --Brad

P.S. I see you are in the Squier SS Jag club: here's my son playing his through a MegaBass a couple of years ago. He still has the bass, but we lost him to the saxophone. Perhaps he'll come back to bass later! ;-)

Have to watch Steve's video again too. Oh, and thanks, I did pick up a power cord from your link. -Brad
