Playstation 4 VS Xbox One

I disagree entirely. Sony listened to their customers during development and didn't put anything into the system that their customers said they didn't want. Microsoft disregarded everything their community said, did what they wanted, and once the uproar started Microsoft basically told their community to screw themselves. It wasn't until they noticed their pre-sales were dismal compared to Sony's that they actually did something.
Let's look back at the launch of PS3 and the 360. Every other day it seemed that Sony stepped on their faces with faux pas after faux pas. Anyone remember Sony execs saying that peeps should get another job to afford a PS3? Yeah, Sony screwed up the launch of that console.

They seem to have learned a lot since then and Microsoft has done one thing after another on their feature set to turn their noses up at people. I can't believe they actually said for folks without online access that there is an option for them...the 360. @_@

That boggles my mind.

There seems to be a big role reversal at this point in the game. Time will tell though.

The games for the next gen consoles are starting to drop and Sony has a big advantage in gaming performance out of the gate. COD Ghosts is playing at 1080P on the PS, 720P on XBONE. BF4 is 900P on PS and only 720P on XBONE. Apparently, one of the reasons is that the Xbox has multiple operating systems, while Sony has primarily one. In addition, it seems that games are easier to develop for Playstation. I'm leaning again toward PlayStation. I do however, prefer the Xbox controller, but I can get an aftermarket Xbox one.

I will add that if I do end up getting either I'll probably end up waiting a year or so before buying it. I'd rather wait and make sure all the kinks are worked out first. That, plus later editions of gaming systems tend to be more attractive to me.

Call Of Duty: Ghosts review here - main part is PS4 vs Xbox 360 version comparison, XB1 is an extra section down at the bottom of the review.

I am a long time COD player and couldn't disagree with that guy more. I think they have done a lot to make the game better, and they succeeded in a number of areas. Connections are excellent, hit detection is spot on, the game is very balanced are just the beginning. Players want playability and a fair game. Those things give it to us. BO2 was horrible, terrible connections, C4 spam and no balance, as sinipers ruled, overpowered kill streaks and so on. I think this is the best COD since MW2 and how this guys says that it's one of the worst is beyond me.

Yeah, XBOX controller is pretty much the same, as well as the Sony one. The offset position of the sticks is a big deal to me.

personally I hate the xbox controller, it cramps my hands, and I hate the offset joysticks, but it's nice to live in a time where we get choices.

I have a feeling that the ps4 controller will fall on its face and we'll end up with dual shock 4. just as the six-axis took a dive and dual shock 3 came out.
