Please post your most trivial first world problem here

I purchased a new cell phone cover last week because I liked the paisley design. (Why I had to purchase a phone is a whole nother 1WP)

When the cover arrived I noticed the sides were white instead of a continuation of the paisley design.

You ask "why is this a problem?"

My wife's phone cover is white too so she started mistaking my phone for her phone and texting from my phone.

This lead to my next problem: I wanted to keep my paisley cover so how was I going to cover the white sides?

Fortunately I found a black Sharpie oil-based ink marker where the ink would stick to plastic.

FYI: I also picked up a white one as well. This one has more of a pen based tip.

These are awesome because the ink sticks to metal, smooth plastic, glass, vinyl, rubber and leather.

So now I can permanently label all kinds of stuff that I couldn't before.

FTR: Here's a pic of the offending cover. I hope u like it too:

What's better than 1WP thread? A 1WP and solutions thread!

Where my body will wind up.

I used to be willed to the UT Medical facilities, but became disenchanted when I found I couldn't designate which specific institution I would wind up at. I could wind up at a freakin nursing school.

I had a reservation at UNT for the body farm. They are up and coming and my daughter is on the faculty for the med school. Unfortunately, the site location got moved due to concerns about vultures in the flight path of the airport. The new site is much smaller and they dont many per year. I dont want to get freezer burn waiting mu turn

I am looking into the Outdoor Research Center in Huntsville. My wife is friends with the director. They have a higher capacity, plus a webcam to track post mortem activity.

I live in poverty not because I want to, but because I made decisions in my life that were not necessarily in my best interest, but I can live with that because they were my decisions to make.
I am closer to poverty than middle class according to studies. It’s my fault. I’m just sorry my wife picked a loser. She deserves better.

Ooh, I got one!!!

People who try to cut others down by labeling their problems as "first world problems".

Funny enough, in my experience that only happens in first-world countries. The folks I've known in developing countries tend not to worry about putting down others' problems regardless of size.

Real first-world problem there right?

Oops, I think I just dropped a serious response in this thread...I guess that's another one...
