Someone at my office keeps putting the toilet paper roll on the spindle the wrong way. As everyone knows, the correct way is with the end at the back of the roll, so the cats can't unwind it.

*THAT* is why we prohibit cats from using the restrooms at the office. Orangutans, sloths, and fruitbats are allowed. Just not cats.
Orangutans can be a significant restroom issue in so many potential ways that their reckless Bogarting of the TP is generally the least of concerns
I added a pic to my post #270 to help illustrate the well-documented cat issue.
Disclosure: Orangutans are by far my favorite of the aforementioned species.

OK, I'll take the bait. I have 120 basses and guitars taking up the entire room that was supposed to be my kids' playroom, so they have to play in the living room, and they are destroying the mahogany floor in there.

I have 10 electric basses, two acoustic basses, an acoustic upright, and an electric upright, but I work about 55 hours a week. Something all messed up about that.....

A vertically oriented dispenser can mitigate yet not halt such wonderful yet aggravating behavior.
