Please post your most trivial first world problem here

Sometimes my wife would use my cast iron frying pan to make spaghetti sauce, or cook sausages without greasing first. I hate having to sand it down to "new", so I stashed it in the basement and I now use a teflon coated pan. All of this is good, but Jebus, I hate the plastic egg flipper

You don't understand cast iron.

I cook with tomato sauce all the time. No problems. I also cook with or without pre-oiling the pan, no problems. You haven't properly primed your pan if you're having sticking that cannot be unstuck with a little soaking in warm water then a nylon brush. Just fill it with water, put it on the stove, and heat it up.

In more extreme conditions, scrubbing with a little sea salt is the old Italian way of getting back to the prime. It'll get off the tough stuff without scrubbing through the coating.

But sanding and refinishing is for drastic situations. I don't think I've done that on my most used pan in years.

Ubuntu 18.4.

But now you've answered it means it's no longer a first world problem, but a real one.
Sorry 'bout that.

18.04 has been nice and co-operative for me on my work laptop, so I'm guessing a config mismatch with your WiFi router. Or maybe you have the same issue I have with a newfangled 802.11ac model, which overwhelms devices when they're too close, causing connection issues and low transfer rates.
But this is a bass forum; feel free to DM me if you want somebody to bounce the issue off.

(This is not reference to this thread at all btw)

People on TB who start new threads that are utterly derivative and possess no semblance of effort or original thought after commenting on the “source thread” earlier that day.

For example:

ThoughtlessTBer comments Monday morning on thread entitled What makes a cover band worth it for you?

Then ThoughtlessTBer opens a new thread Monday evening entitled Favorite aspects of cover bands that make you want to join/stay?

Ugh. Please people, at least TRY to be original.
