As a visitor to Colorado, only through DIA; and not in past 10 years- this made me both laugh and shrug shouders.People keep visiting Colorado.
And they don't leave.
Fortunately, the solution to such feline mayhem is within our grasp:

My mandolin was built in that state(Denver) and it has earned much good will for the remainder of the state.;-)
At least it's not tuna noodle casserole! (@slobake's favorite!)![]()
I have them all written down on a spreadsheet. An encrypted spreadsheet. (wait for it)...... that I protect with a password.Remembering passwords.......
Two wheels, 1200CC v-twin engine, fly-by-wire. 0 to plaid in not enough seconds to properly enjoy the rush, plus suspension that makes muddy fields and gravel roads sources of fun instead of terror. If I ever get it onto the track, I may find out why some people insist on putting quick-shifters in those things. Not that I was aware of! I'm talking about my VW. Fast is never fast enough. Neither is faster.![]()
I hear ya, but the terms have simply changed usage. Similarly, I've stopped trying to teach people the difference between "hacker" and "cracker."My "first world problem" is people who misuse terms like "first world" and "third world".
These terms came out of an article written in the 1950s about how the world was dividing itself up during the Cold War. The First World was the US, UK, Western Europe and their allies. The Second World was the Communist countries (Soviet Union, China) and their allies. And the Third World was countries not aligned with either group. So many of the world's wealthiest (oil-producing Middle Eastern) nations are Third World countries. Many African countries that we now think of as Third World were originally First World as they were administratively linked with England, France and Belgium, etc. And much of the Second World no longer exists following the unification of Germany and the dissolution of the Soviet Union.
Same! What is it with Levis and 514s?!! I have one pair that fit perfectly, and one pair that bag embarrassingly.Levi’s won’t quit changing the fit in their numbering system. It’s very frustrating because the 514 doesn’t hug my gluteus maximus like my last pair, which is very disappointing to my wife. She may leave me if I don’t find a better fitting number.
Not mine. My first-world problems have first-world problems.Pretty sure 99% of these responses are attempts at absurdist humor.![]()
Sad but true. Happily, it's not universal. The only time I hear the phrase "first world problems", It's meant to trivialize what someone is going through. My point is that those who have actually lived in places that aren't first-world don't poo-poo other's issues regardless of size. It's like a whole lot of other 'charged' words and phrases that don't actually help anybody and only serve to divide society.
The fact that the phrase is primarily used in developed countries should be another indication of the privilege of the people using it, not those it is meant to 'shame'. It doesn't raise any awareness, it doesn't help anybody actually...it only serves to divide people further.
I use a password manager app. One passphrase to remember, lots of much-more-secure passwords that even I don't know.I have them all written down on a spreadsheet. An encrypted spreadsheet. (wait for it)...... that I protect with a password.
