I wanted my rack tuner on my board. So i had the manufacturer knock up a flexible rack mount system for it. I've still got a fw of those "killer pedals" abark. I'm just hiding them from you until i get a few more things sorted out. Then i can do a "grand reveal" on my board. It'll blow some minds :D ;)

can't wait!!!!

btw, would it be overkill to have two wahs???? I've got my modded vox wah which is great but it is a very fullrange wah, so when you pump ut the higs , all the bass is lost in the mix, but i like it for certain things like solos and a couple of line, i'd like a more fuller sound to fill my bottom so i'm wanting a 105q badly by now, this would kick ass, like two wahs on a board, timmy C here I come!!!

Toasted and I are doing the same thing......revealing when its almost 100% done (for the time)....and let me tell you these 2 boards have a LOT of planning into it. They are gonna melt faces clean off. Pedalporn city. :hyper:

IN regards to the wahs.....def. do it! I know on my board I will have 2 or more different synths/fuzz/ebv. etc.......everything has a different sound....if you find your wah sound in 2 pedals use 2.....hell if you needed 4 for what YOU personally want out of YOUR sound...go for it. who cares if 4 wah's is overkill.....you'd have the sounds in your head at your feet. Isn't that the whole point of a pedalboard? :bassist:

OKay, Btw, I'm trying to have my custom built distortion I'm going to work this way:build a bass-drive clone ( got the schematics, it works) ifi'm not happy with the tone, i'll try to mod the oriinal guv'nor I have, we'll see!!!

I hope the DIY one will make it, I'd be so proud of myself!

Nah that's fine, I have 3 filters on my board and 3 delays and like 10 gain pedals, so don't worry.

SOrry for the size of tha pick!!!

anyway, The vox wah is customised, the muff is stuck so are the two other pedals,

keepers: BSW, mini q tron ( maybe i'll add a special dry loop to it)
a seccond wah pedal ( 105q for sure)
in project: bassdrive copy( modded a lot in fact): 3 buttons 1.bypass 2. Od/boost 3.gain, this would be like my 3 way main sound box!
a seccond wah pedal ( 105q for sure)
a relay based looper like the wobo double looper (with invert knob)

Humble setup but I like to keep things basic, It stimulates creativity

I wouldn't spit on an agent 00Funk and a EHX bass microsynth though!

I'm upgrading right now from pedaltrain regular to the tonebone boneyard.

I'm still getting right layouts worked out etc, but so far this is how I think it's going to look:Link Removed

couple of things will change:
waiting on 4 loop loooper with master bypass to replace the 3 loop version currently there.
EBS Microbass II will replace MXR M-80

Loop A will be
Digitech Bass Synth Wah -> Dredgetone Angler -> Hotcakes XLF -> XXL
Loop B will be
Fuzz -> M-188 -> BassIQ -> Deep Impact
Loop C will be
VWah
Loop D will be
Mutron

I'm probably also going to get the Mutron modded for true bypass.

What did you do to that vox wah? Theres one at the shop down the street from me, mabye I'll snatch it up...hows it work w/ bass?

in fact I just switched a couple of components and added a true bypass,

for a bass version: change the 0.01 µf input cap to 0.068µf I think and I also flipped out a resistor to put a pot instead to have a variable Q control, look on google with keywords: vox wah mods , it is better described therre!!
