I bought one sent lightly used and another new and I thought they sounded good and didn't find myself hoping I could wait till they come in and lose any brightness. They just didn't sound bright to me (and I wasn't looking for or wanting bright). I was impressed how mellow and "used" they sounded even new--especially compared to other flats. Sweet and thick like good bacon!

That's pretty decent, but the 3025 set isn't that bad already, and if you change the 60 to a 55 for the D string (making that set 45-55-75-95) it's even closer.

If the tension is well balance,how about the tone balance？
My previous experience with fender 9050CL is 105E sound duller and bassy than 1ooE.
Although I give it a month for settle in, but the E still unmatch with others.

Thoughts on the 45 65 85 105 set versus the 55 70 90 105 set?
i've got the balanced set now (45 60 80 105) but feeling like a bigger A and D would be good (getting buzz and could set them up lower and tonally would be nice), but really feeling like maybe the 3050 set might be nice too. Is it super tense?

IMO the 45-105 set already has a fair amount tension and I can get my action to Fender specs with no buzz. I wonder if the tension on the 55-105 set would be too high, highly subjective of course.
No. This set is easy medium tension. Great feel on the fingers. Wonderful tonality on the ears.

Because to me, the 45-105 set is perfect....I would think that a heavier gauge would mean higher tension. Although I understand this may be desirable for some.
it is, yet some desire a fatter G so worry not what others may think or want/desire.
So I played these again at rehearsal last night. We have a nice space but the acoustics are awful, it has concrete floors, high ceiling and is very much like playing in large cave. Needless there is typically zero note clarity and I have a hard time hearing myself...so I thought why not bring a P bass with flats
I was pleasantly surprised, the added fullness to the notes I think helped add clarity over the "echo mush" and I was cutting through a lot better.

Mine will stay on until either I need a new set or Armageddon!
Once I get mine for my Greco violin bass, they'll never come off.
