Range Rover Runs Over Bikers

The biker who shot the helmet-cam video said he started taping after seeing a water bottle fly out of the sunroof of the SUV.

Obviously, he cant show that on the video since the cam was turned on after the bottle was thrown from the SUV. But if thats true, that might explain the agressive demeanor of the bikers. Certainly, it doesnt excuse it, but might provide a clue as to [DEL]how[/DEL] why the whole confrontation began.

Its a little bit suspect that the "battery cut out" on the helmet-cam just prior to the SUV driver's beating.

I just thought he had a very brief moment of clarity long enough to realize he should turn off the cam. Didn't know his story was the battery died. Not so sure I buy it. At any rate I completely fail to see how a water bottle could get someone to that level of anger. If that's the type of handle those guys had on their emotions, they shouldn't be operating a vehicle on a public road.

Yep, any excuse to accuse someone of racism will do for the average Brooklynite. Godwin's Law in full effect, yo. I guess the actions of the motorcycle morons can all be forgiven by their bad home lives or centuries of repression. Or maybe since there might be law enforcement and veterans among their ranks, we can blame PTSD. Nice try, but they're just irresponsible scum. There are places in the tri-state they could've raced or done tricks and not bothered anyone. The West Side Highway isn't one of them. The die was cast, and it came up snake eyes for a dude who had no place gambling. A humane society makes that an object lesson for other would-be gamblers. People educated under the aegis of political correctness will never understand this. Say hello to Ed and Gloria for us, sweetie.

Nazis were racist, but I didn't call you a Nazi or a racist.!

Now Godwin's law IS in full effect, YO! :D

If all you can do is spew vitriol, maybe you shouldn't read what's written or post in this thread.

No doubt - after reading his posts on this thread, I've come to the conclusion that he's somehow involved, or is just trolling...Either way, trying to reason with him on this is a wasted effort....

It's not my problem if you can't keep up and because of that, resort to name calling. :D If I don't agree with what your opinion, I don't agree with your opinion. You have your reasoning, I have my own and just because a bunch of you here agree doesn't mean I have to agree the bunch of ya's. That's one of the many points that you and others are missing here.

By all means, troll on if you wish...

I read that piece, too. The story is almost TOO convenient. The helmet cam goes on AFTER the Rover had a water bottle thrown out of it? And the helmet cam goes off just BEFORE the Rover driver was pulled from his vehicle and assaulted? Because the battery died JUST BEFORE the assault? Something like that is just too coincidental to believe. And when you consider the fact that the rider with the helmet cam was one of the first riders to tear off after the Rover after he ran over the bikes and rider, you get the sense that he might have been swept up in the mob mentality that seemed to develop amongst the riders when they stopped the Rover.

I think that the police will be just as skeptical about the helmet cam story, too. The NYPD's computer forensic team will probably be investigating the helmet cam quite vigorously.

I'll be waiting to see if there are any other statements about how the Rover driver was driving on the West Side Highway before the events of the video. If the Rover knocked down another rider or was throwing trash out their sunroof, then clearly it's a very serious charge. But where's the evidence? Where are there independent statements to that effect? The evidence we have right now is the video. And that's very damning evidence against the bikers.

As for the Rover driver and his choices when he was surrounded by bikers just past that off ramp at West 125th street? I think he was in a fight or flight situation. Does he get out of his vehicle and confront DOZENS of bikers? Or does he attempt to flee the situation? Clearly, the Rover driver chose to flee because he feared for his family and the possibility that he might be beaten down. And clearly his fears were well founded, since he got beaten to hell at the hands of these bikers who also attempted to assault his wife when the chase ended on W 174th street.

What Would Miley Cyrus Do?

Ya know, like, in this situation and all...

Miley would do 7 Things:

- First, she'd tell those bikers "Ya'll Can't Be Tamed"
- She'd then say "Dude, did you just Fall Down ?
- Then she'd tell the fallen biker to Just Stand Up!
- She was so surprised becasue "I Thought I Lost You"
- Afterwards she'd say to the driver of the Range Rover "Ready, Set, Don't Go"
- "Eff that noise ya'll, Ranger Rover, you got Nothing to Lose , We Can't Stop!
- "I dont care about this, lets just Party in the U.S.A.!" Pop some molly, and stick her tongue out.

Thats what she'd do, Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah, bitches.

Im calling 10 points.

Now someone else go put together a post using as many song titles (must all be from the same artist) as possible.

How about state names?

What did Delaware to Georgia’s party down in Maryland?
She wore a New Jersey that Virginia bought in Michigan.
Did you see that Tennessee did see a saw in Arkansas?
For this silly song of states, Iowa big apology!

:p

Pfff Please, Please..Me and you could go back and forth about this days..and I really should just Let it Be, but I think it's in reality a cry for Help. So I'm thinking we need to Come Together on this and do Something about it.. Because, I've Got a Feeling it's going to be a Long Winding Road to Get Back, Dig it? Dont Let Me Down with this.
It's always Getting Better, With a Little Help from My Friends. It's all just A Day in the Life after all.

(when in doubt always go Beatles, it's the easiest)

that's 14 titles BTW

That is interesting that he did not record the alleged bottle flinging. I saw a number of their videos. Another website had copied them before they were deleted from youtube. They had recorded a huge amont just riding around. Now I am gunna look at the video to see if the SUV even has a sunroof.

He claimed (via his attorney) That his helmet-cam was not recording at the time the water bottle flew out of the SUV. It was seeing the bottle that prompted the videographer to turn on the helmet-cam.

edit: yes it would be rather, ughhh, awkward if it were found the SUV had no sunroof!
