I'd give her the money if she checked out legit. I would be such a sucker for stuff like that. But then where would it end if I did it for her? All you need is for her to tell the wrong person and next thing you know everyone with their sick babies is hitting you up. And you want to help them all but you can't. That's the big downside to being rich from Lotto, I'd say. Wanting to help but knowing the money won't be coming in forever so you have to turn some truly needy people down.

I've already told everyone, "if I win big, the only way you'll know, is after you realize you haven't seen or heard from me in a few weeks... And don't bother looking for a forwarding address." Lol

Seriously, my kids, my sisters, they'd be the only ones who'd get anything by asking. The charity and good will from me would only come from something that felt good in my heart, and probably anonymously.

I was going to mention that. If we win $50 million, we literally get a check for $50 million.
The profits from our lotteries go to charity, so it's almost like you gave a donation by buying the ticket in a way.

I spent a lot of time playing bass with a touring band in Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and Alberta in the early 1980s. I don't know if that makes me an honorary Canadian, but I had a great time, and I still have the work-visas, tax audits, and Union cards to show for it.
