Please do! He will not respond to me. I called and emailed him just now even. Dude could have kept the wood for all I cared, or told me he was sending a check separate. 2500$ is worth this guys reputation? I can't belive it.

I highly recommend to Rybski that he just jump in here stating that he will return the money, even in installments if necessary, and then just follow through. It would be the best investment he could ever make in his business. And it wouldn't even be with his own money. To not do that, at this point is going to wind up costing him a whole lot more. He's turned enough people against him at this point. Sad. I actually feel bad for both these guys now. OP cuz he's screwed, builder cuz he seems to lack the skills (or integrity) to make this right before it goes really wrong.

What exactly I mean by damage is just simply to tell the truth to whomever will listen to me. I certainly am not talking about going outside the law. I will be looking for legal and just means to accomplish my goal. If he wants to lose 50 thousand dollars in annual business over 2500$ I am not responsible. By telling the truth I'm not liable.

I meant to copy what I wrote here, but I clicked submit and it was gone before I thought of it. Basically said none of us here can understand why he doesn't just send the refund, willing to listen to his side of it, but he's losing customers over this...

Only among TalkBassers and the other places Chauncey posted. May or may not make a dent in Rybski's business. I checked out his site, he does make some nice stuff that sounds good, but if he can't run an honest business, no amount of skill will make up for it.
