Which acoustic amp? Why? ;)

Thanks for the number, Mudd! Have you changed out any of the parts on yours? I believe everything is still stock on my future bass except it looks like the strings got changed out.

I promise better pics when she's home. Just hope I can do her justice!

I had the acoustic b30(tone of awesome features/sound/tone for playing at home. Now I have the b460 which had a ton of different tone controls and stuff it's 450 watts and great quality, I only paid 200.

Yes, with more in the works; I've had the factory pre replaced with an early 2-band Bartolino pre (passive option) and a bone nut made for it, so far...next up will hopefully be pickups and a Babicz bridge. This is gonna be a mod-it-past-it's-worth thingy eventually.

And the Acoustic stuff is rather better than it has a right to be and worth test-driving, at least.

Thanks for the FYI. We'll take a look at the acoustic amps next time we're at the music shops. An electric cello will probably be joining our family soon and wouldn't an acoustic amp sound good with one of those?

Pull up on the volume knob...at least that's how my 004 is config'd. That, however, doesn't mean that there is any similarity between the Stargazer and 004 aside from blank body and neck, tho...and I've not had the opportunity to try a Stargazer in person.

I'll have a number for you later tonight or tomorrow, when I'm on the machine that has the master list.

They're nice. Clearly modeled after the Rick, they have a similar neck feel and a tone that's in the ballpark as well. I was pretty impressed with the Stargazer the half-dozen times or so I played one when I worked for Guitar Center.

If I wasn't so happy with my current stable, I'd probably opt for one. The only thing I don't like about them is, ironically, the looks. I love Ricks but the two-piece pickguard and overall appearance just don't work for me.
