Thanks for the correction. I've never written it before. I do, however, like to shout it every time I step out of the shower.

are you an english major ? or some sort of trouble maker ?

Here, let me correct your sentence for you:
"Are you an English major or some sort of trouble maker?"
Should this sentence not have a comma inserted after the word, "major"?
I believe that this sentence would be more likely to be said with a pause after that word.
I believe that man never landed on the moon too. Show me proof that a comma is needed.

You probably need a comma before "too" as well.![]()
I can take it, but as an older guy, it definitely matters to me. Maybe it's just my prejudices, but it sure seems that the more intelligent posts tend to feature better use of the English language. I see it as a matter of if something is worth doing, it't worth doing right, or at least putting in a decent effort.
One thing I just can't handle is posts by people who have no concept of using paragraphs to break a post up into manageable, self contained blocks of information. I see a pile of words strung together without any paragraph breaks and don't even bother trying to read them.
Sorry. No, not really.

Let's eat Grandma
Let's eat, Grandma
Commas save lives.
Oh yeah! Then how come you have two first names? Huh? Huh? Why I oughta ....
It's because "paulie" was taken when I joined Talkbass, and repeating myself seemed the best option at the time.
