Aloha Jerry-I just got my shredding SCHROEDER!!!!....4 days ago-my house is still standing -my wife keeps saying "whatjerry said:I've got wheels on my 1212.......I'm lazy
are those new noises the house is making ?"-when I'm playing..... Oh yeah,we're talkin Wheels...my cab came with out casters-I assumed it would have them-any way I wrote an Email to Jorg about my assumption and then he emails me back and says he'll send me a set-then I send him another email telling him that I'll pay him for them, just send me an invoice with the casters-then he sends me an email ,saying dont worry about it-then I send him another email saying ,no way, Jorg ,I pay my way...in fact, I feel owe him a dinner for making such a fine cabinet and don't even waste his time writing back about this,-I'M PAYING for the casters because he deserves to be paid for his good works. Whew! What a great guy that Jorg-not only is the Bass world better of because of him,but the universe is a better place....Thanks again Jorg...Peace...DAcat

Steve, Epi says it weighs 57#! We'll see. It seems most manufacturers fudge the weight a bit don't they? I know everything I've had has been heavier than what was listed.Steve S said:

Uhhhh, not so much...
Let's round the 56# epi up to 60, and round the 78# Schro up to 80...that makes the epi 2/3 the weight of the Schro, not half

Still lighter..the 410 feels heavier than 80 lbs, especially when I'm tired.

OK, I am trying not to be too overly excited, but I just got my new 21012 this morning and
HOLY CRAP!!!!!!
I plugged my new Aggie DB659 into the power section of my Yorky xs800h and into my new 21012 and I couldn't believe the improvement in my sound.
I mean I expected it to be significant, but I thought I was playing completely new instruments. Whereas before, my Laky P-Bass with Dark Star was unwieldly and hard to control harmonically; suddenly it is the smoothest sounding bass I've ever played!
I realize that my ear is probably nowhere near as refined as most on this board. I've read about the low-mid burps, the Schroeder sound being colored or at least different; and how the Schroeders don't sound that great in the house but wait 'til you get them on a stage.
All I can say is that whoosh sound you may have heard this morning was the sound of one TBers rig GAS being completely released. OK, except that I now need another Schroeder for my gig up in Buffalo! But that's easy! I just have to make up my mind which one to get.

No Buffalo Bob,I didn't. I only had a chance to try a 1210 and 410-and I'm sure I would have had a harder time in choosing between the 410 and the 21012. We just finished a practice session with my 410 and it sounded fantasticBuffaloBob4343 said:
