The 1210/1212 is the system I am working on/for!! I would like to know thoughts on that myself

I recently aquired a 1212 to go along with my 1210, and so far I like it. The 1212 isn't as punchy as the 1210, but it may be a touch deeper. I think the 1210 and 1212 are a good fit together and compliment each nicely. I noticed that the 1210 is a bit more efficient as well, so you may have to figure that in if you want adequate volume. I'm currently looking for a bit more power for those two cabs. Bottom line is that either 2x1210, 2x1212, or 1210/1212 are going to be good no matter what.

Yesterday, I talked with James Hart about a very minor thing that Jorg and I had discussed. James did some checking and took care of it. Right away!!!

For me - - Customer service is as important as the product. The Schroeder cabinets are fantastic and so are the people that work for and with Jorg.... I truely am humbled by the level of service and customer care I have gotten!!! :hyper:

Thanks for the props! I only help out with web work for people and companys that I can stand behind. I've got a 9-5 bread and butter, I mess with html as a hobby on the side.

I know James (Hart) uses that rig (1210/1212) with his Peavey _something_ 400 head and obviously loves it! :) I'm either adding a 1212 or 21012, not sure yet, as it's way down the line...

Peavey Classic 400 :bassist:

I like the 1212 / 1210 combo... the compliment each other well. I'll tell you what though.... This Mini 12 I got last week is SMOKIN! I'm almost thinking about trading the 1210 and 1212 for another 3 Mini 12s :bassist:

... ok, not really ;) but I do like it a lot! I'm actually running the 1212&1210 in series for 8 ohms and my 8 ohm Mini in Parallel . I'll be micing the Mini for recording and to send to the PA. I was joking with Jorg about sending the 1212 and 1210 back and he said he's recording with a Mini right now too (not sure if his has the tweeter or not).

I ran the mini with my 100lbs head trying to flatten it for an audition (Beatles cover thing)... sounded great but looked rediculous :p

ive been using my 1212 with a mini 12 for a while.its an eisier load than my 1212/1210 setup and they sound great together.ive used the mini12 on a handfull of wedding gigs and it does the job no problem.it does look funny though sitting next to the guitar rig.(its half the size )ive even been asked to turn down.i thought the same thing about getting another mini and trying two together.they are punchy little cabs.

I'm selling my Schroeder 410 for $700. It's the best cabinet that I've ever had but I'm no longer gigging so don't need it. My 1212 is enough for what I'm doing now. Local sales only because I don't want to ship this...I live in Seattle.

This thing is in absolute mint condition, I've only had it for a few months and it has never left my house.
That's cool that one of these is coming on the market, but I think you'll find that the mods shoot this one down... you need to be a supporting member to post items for sale. It's worth the $20 though!

I must agree. I played a jam where I thought maybe my 4 ohm 1210 wasn't loud enough ( I know, don't flame me), so I got an 8 ohm mini 12 (w/out horn) and paired it with the 1210. I posted another thread about this, but it is really amazing how much punch and bottom end comes out of this rig now. My Goliath 3 and SOB will be staying in the music room for a while or perhaps going on the selling block.

Thanks again Jorg, your products are indeed awesome! :hyper:

BTW, Jorg just had an apendectomy, so dont be suprised if it takes him a while to respond. He is doing well from what I've heard, but may take a while to get a response from him right this minute.
[I copied this from another Schroeder thread and pasted here since this seemed the most appropriate place to respond.]

Jorg, we wish you a speedy recovery, good health, and a blessed future.

Thanks for being who you are and for gracing the bass world with your speaker systems, your dedication, and your support.

Jorg e-mailed me not long ago, he seems to be doing allright. Props to his son Richard though, he was great handling e-mails and the like.

Interesting about the mini 12.. I'd love to get two of them to put under/on top of my 410, but the cost to get them out here would just be too much and i'm not sure the single 12" would be enough for my band practices on it's own.. So I think i'll be sticking a 1212 underneath.. Or perhaps a 21012 :p

Nah, no flames needed! :D My 1210 doesn't always just totally go crazy volume-wise in bigger venues that I play in. It's always loud enough, but not to where it's like "Whoa dude, that's pretty loud!" But those were only in huge sanctuaries and gyms, with pretty bad acoustics. Every club I've played in, I've had to turn down. :D Lovin' it. Can't wait to get a 1212, and add some SERIOUS bootay!
