Beautiful board. How’s that walrus 385 on bass? I see you’ve got the bass knob cranked. Do you feel it still retains low end well? I’ve been using the odr1 for a little while and enjoy it but always interested in other ODs
Thanks! Don't pay too much attention to the knobs as they got bumped and moved when re-adjusting the board. However, I did feel like I had to boost the bass quite a bit and cut the treble a little to get it sounding best for me. It's a fairly new pedal for me, but I did a quick comparison between a couple of the drives I had and overall I preferred the sound, feel, and functionality of the 385.Beautiful board. Yeah. I got an HX one a while back to try out some different effects to see directionally what I liked and didn’t like. There was a setting on there called “prize drive” which essentially is the ODR-1 simulation. How do you like the odr1? Does it retain the low end?

That is a fantastic collection of nice pedals.
No, I haven't tried the DCX yet.The 385 has me interested. I've really backed off buying drives, but the 385 would be able to replace my drive & boost and open up a slot on the board for something else. I don't use the dirty boost that often but it makes the difference in just a couple situations.
One of those drives you compared against wouldn't happen to be the DCX bass would it?
Well, you certainly squeezed every inch out of that board! Not square inch of real estate wasted. Do you by chance build houses out here in L.A.? I see a lot of your past work here. Here is tomorrow’s board for amp gig. Don’t need preamp DI as the Ampeg has a great DI.
Taking a spare bass tuned down 1/2 step. We’ll see if it’s faster for me to switch basses or just manually tune down.

Current setup:
The board and the Sol have room for one more mini pedal. I'm thinking about a dedicated chorus to go before the splitter, but may get another Tonex One since it could do that plus a whole lot more. I really like Tonex for my primary sound. Currently using their Lucid Dreams SVT preset most of the time.
- Pedaltrain PT-PB3 Booster with janky rubber feet and a Cioks Sol underneath (fits perfectly with no room to spare).
- Empress Bass Compressor into JHS Spliter.
- Split side 1 to amp.
- Split side 2 to Tonex One to SushiBox Finally v2 to FOH/DAW.

As promised earlier, the larger version - not so compact anymore. My typical always-on setup that’s usually on a Nano or Nano+ runs across the top. The bottom row is the area currently being used for experimenting and changing things out until the songs “tell” me which sounds they want. Then, hopefully, solidification.
As far as practical usage at rehearsal, the envelope filter worked well as expected for Shakedown Street, going to put the Xerograph on instead for next rehearsal and compare. Chorus came in handy during some of the more delicate passages in a couple ballads, and during a jam the delay came out for a bit. I tried the octave during Fire on the Mountain (during between-verse improv bits) but the 3Leaf unit is a bit boxy and synthetic for what I’m trying to get - going to play around with that spot, maybe the Aguilar, with its more organic sound.
Side note: got a Shure wireless on the way to replace the Xvive. Gotta love an upgrade.

I just bought a chrorus (Providence Anadime Bass)...and plan to place in front of my Nobels ODR overdrive...Tuner > compressor > chorus > overdrive > sansamp . I think I need to move the chorus towards the end of the chain
How did you find the Finally v2 compared to the Neptunium?Updated and enlarged board. Nano with a Sol underneath.
I added the Neptunium because I wanted to compare it with the Finally v2. It's probably not necessary to have two tube preamp/DIs, but it balances the board nicely.
What are you powering this with?
