Shuttle 9.0?

I ran it last night. In a club with my 65pbass. We were playing dance music. I used the pair of Uber210's (at least for the last 2 sets). The first 3 I ran a single 210 to see if the 500watts felt true. It did. Having the "extra" power is really felt as well as heard. We got into the 3rd set and I decided to disconnect my line to FOH and see what I could do myself. I did ask FOH if I could for the test. 900 watts in to dual Uber210's was an absolutely driving force. Here is the cool thing, when playing loud and engaging the global bass boost the head does NOT peter out. It shoves frequencies as it should. I normaly play my 5 string Smith on this gig but at home the Pbass/9.0/Uber210's was such a nice treat I used it. Also, this bass has had an Xtender key tuned to "C" on it since 1986 so yes it will drive the hell out of a "C".

As for the comparisons...well the 9.0 is the 6.0 but the eq sits in a sweeter place (or it appears to)... and is more powerful.
vs the tone of the Max series? The Max series has a warmth factor in the eq that is second to none and a max9.0 would be the SH** due to dual channels, the variable globals and the 4 ohm power.

These are just my opinions and yes I am an endorser before people start. Before you tell me I am biased plug one in .

Heck, svtb15's mock up is enough to get anyone going. :D

\
I didn't mean to start any trouble.. I only had the night off and figured i would practice with it in Photoshop...:)For fun since the debate started about a black face,,,
Im Sorry hasbeen , hope I didnt start anything ..
Yes i am a GB endorser, but i have ZERO info of ANY 18.0... I know nothing. But is a good idea.. but I really think my 12.0 and a 9.0 will suffice for now..

no apology necessary- it is good reading the market feedback regarding such a project. .....its all good intel and one of the reasons why I'm here. Other than that I have an addiction for nice bass gear. :D

OK, did they "officially" anounce a S'Max 18.0?????
They didn't as far as I know....Roger??? Andy????

And how much for a one off lead sled 1200 with the front end of the 9.0??
Just vol, gain, EQ, shape buttons and master.
In silver.

Hell, take on the DB750/751!!!! :bassist:

nope.

For you Mike, how about $200k and that will get you sterling silver too ;)

Yes- Two 9.0's and a roll of duct tape.

Man, you guys a MEAN!!!!!:crying:

Personally,I like the bright LEDs.. sort of a trademark... you know its GB as soon as you see it... They(loud LEDs) have bailed me out in a few brightly lit stages too. Especially on the foot switch.!!!!
Black or Silver.. i really dont care... it could be monkey vomit orange and i would still like it.

EDIT: I did a restaurant gig, semi jazz type thing with my 6.0.. after break i came back to the small stage area and there was a cloth napkin over my lights.. people from a few tables back placed it there.. I guess they couldn't see there souffle:D

The 9.0 is the S**t if you are a 6.0 user.
I used used it last night and played the first 2 sets with one uber210. It screamed. I played my 65 Pbass and it was heaven on earth. The 9.0 now that I am allowed to talk about it is simply the the end all (qt least untill the bMax 9.0 or 18.0 comes out if ever). pOWER FOR DAYS and a tone that IS the deal.

svtb15, didn't mean to throw you under the bus or get you into any "trouble". Just liked your mock up, that's all. :smug:

hasbeen, the only reason I brought that idea up is that

1.) I am a big fan of the Bergantino cabinets' form factor and tonality (like many others here on TalkBass) and

2.) I believe it would make a KILLER addition to the market right now, specially since there is only one other contender that quickly comes to mind who is producing a “stereo”, class D amp, capable of sending 900 watts to each side. This particular amp has limited control of the mid frequencies, and has no tube. :scowl:

And not to mention you would have to like the way it sounds to use it... :hiding:

no problem at all..... i was rather impressed with my skill in doing it.. ;):D1st time messing with image manipulation for me....

Im trying to order one and get one in the UK....but its proving quite hard!

Can Genz help?!

I've been in contact a few times with our European distribution arm about this. It isn't their fault though....I kind of blind sided them.

I had been sitting on the 9.0 for quite a bit....wondering when to launch it, figuring on the traditional January NAMM launch. Then I decided what the hey....launch it as soon as we could get support together for it: support being videos, home page, ads, reviews like Ed's, etc.

So Europe didn't see this until they were in my office just three weeks ago.
