Strange. So far, members with signed basses outnumber those of us with unsigned basses. I've had 3 V7s in the house, none of them were signed. Hmmmm.
"If it wasn't for bad luck, I wouldn't have no luck at all." - usually my line, but I got lucky in this case.

it's funny part of me feels like I missed out not getting a signed one but part of feels like if I did, would it stop me playing the crap out of it?!
I'm going to put some sort of plastic over mine so I don't rub it off. It came out of the box very slightly scraped / rubbed off to begin with...

Mines not singed and to be honest im gald. I think that plate looks ugly and cheap with the sig on it. I realise ill get crucified for saying this, but thats how i feel.

The rest of the bass.....cant fault it. Ive done 2 gigs this weekend with it (5 hours in total) and i cant get enough of it. Im finding that i now use passive mode a lot. I turned the active mode down a bit so its just a bit lower than passive mode when flat. I tend have the active mode set up so a more fuller, modern tone and find switching between them really makes the bass even more versatile.

I find the pickup balance knob a good way to change between lots of different tones quickly, it's just a bit "touchy", but lots of tonal options available within 1/8 turn either way from the center detente.

@bholder I believe you got a 5 string? I think only the 4 strings (US and Thomann) shipped with pickup covers, not a US/Thomann thing.
Ah ok, thanks. Don't want one anyway, never have liked them, only get in the way, and if I need mutes, I'll do it myself. :)

I'm very sorry to hear that... :)
poopie happens, besides that... it was a quick fix, Remove the cover, tighten the bolt a bit, and looks(& works) like a charm now.

Seriously impressed by the quality of this bass, Played a bit via the amp, the sound you can get out of this thing... just... Beastlike!(yes with a capital B)
Btw, anybody knows what to do with the Pickup cover? got it with the bass, but no drillholes in the body, not going to skrew up my bass by drilling holes in it myself ;)
