Songs that left you speechless

These songs all stopped me dead in my tracks. I had to stop and focus on the song - period. I can still picture exactly where I was when I heard each of the following for the first time. These songs had a "magic" about them.

Nights in White Satin - Moody Blues
Love to Love You - UFO
Pinball Wizard - The Who
Don't Fear The Reaper - Blue Oyster Cult
Dust in the Wind - Kansas
The Grand Illusion - Styx
Pull Me Under - Dream Theater
Wo Will Stop the Rain - Asia
Crimson Rider - Masterplan
Forever - Kamelot
Carried by the Wind - Ayreon

Mac - HEDDA

Heart of the Sunrise - YES
From the Beginning - ELP
Hyper-Ballad - BJORK (honorable mention goes to a jazz arrangement by a faculty ensemble at my school CCNY)
Goodbye Pork Pie Hat - Charles Mingus - Favorite Jazz piece ever

Children of the Grave - Black Sabbath
A Skull Full of Maggots - Cannibal Corpse - altered my tastes in music forever
One - Metallica - most heartfelt thrash metal song i've heard

Great topic. Too many to mention for me, but the ones that spring immediately to mind are "A Day in the Life" and Television's "Venus." It's kind of cheating I suppose, but I'll add The Ramones' entire first album. First heard it coming through my buddy's older brother's bedroom door and was like "What the hell is that?" Bought my first electric guitar that week.

Atoz: Great choice with "Jocko Homo." Always brings a smile to my face.
