Source Audio Sorcerers Society (S.A.S.S) Part 3

So, my board has a C4, an Aftershock and a TC subnup in the 3 loops of a Boss MS-3. The MS-3 controls the 2 SA pedals via a Hub. I don't really use the subnup that much, just for the start of Jeremy. I haven't found a way to do that 12 string sort of effect with the C4 yet, any recommendations?

Also, I wouldn't mind getting rid of the subnup and replace it with another SA pedal so that the whole board can be controlled via MIDI thru the MS-3. I know the EQ2 is an EQ (duh!) but what exactly is the Ultrawave?

pretty sure Christian runs 3 on his board, I think I’ve run into one other person running 3 on a single board in contact emails. A few people with 3 hubs split up among boards. I’m at 2 hubs and 9 pedals on my all midi board currently. Might be room to squeeze one more one series in there somewhere.
Soon you will have no choice. ;)

Yes you can absolutely do that on the C4, in fact i’m pretty sure there’s a preset in the cloud that someone made. Otherwise, just use the Monophonic (or Polyphonic) Pitch and go up one octave.

Hi,

Newbie to SA here. I just got the Aftershock.

Is there a way to use it to reamp bass tracks that are already in my DAW?

Do the routing options in Neuro allow for this while staying in the digital domain?

Sorry if this is a dumb question. (I'm assuming the answer is that it cannot be done digitally).

The usb connection is for the editor interface only, no audio is past over usb so it cannot be used as an interface.

If anyone needs a modest deal on a hub send me a PM. Long story short I accidentally ordered two, one used and one new. Whoops. I'd rather pass savings onto someone here instead of sending it back.

Stoked to be back on the SA bandwagon after many years away from regular touring. I was an original beta tester for the hub back in the day. I picked up a C4 and Ultrawave and am ready to make some wild sounds.
Hey Johnbegone,
I am interested in picking up a neuro hub. What’s the deal?

Just waiting on the Hub!

And done!
View attachment 4385567 Now I just need to figure it all out!
In theory, this provides access to every sound I could possibly need for both my situations.
At church I’m looking for a nice warm and punchy, mid forward tone for my fretted and volume matching for my fretless through the IEM’s.
For the Funk band, Filters, Octaves, Dirt, and synth tones. And tuner, and mute.

Your church board is a lot smaller than mine:

Do you play bass or guitar at church?

Guitar, I don’t even have a bass right now in my life, but I know my way around one. Could easily fill in if needed.

Are those two MIDI cables connected to your POG?

yes, moddded it for midi awhile back, only changes between the 8 onboard presets, and can activate knob mode via midi, so technically 9 sounds total. The newer midi module from microdesignum offers a momentary switch and bypass relay for midi control of bypass, but I nodded mine with a normal relay, and added a remote jack and currently use my airstep to bypass the POG remotely via midi. Had a disaster area smart switch before that I used for midi control of my amp channel and the POG bypass before I got the airstep.

My new Spectrum. It's here and it's in and the gold knobs are on.....

I'm still playing with routings and placement. At the moment is connected just before my Lunar.
Loop1: C4
Loop2: Hog2
Loop3: Aftershock
Loop4: H9a
Loop5: Ultrawave
Post ES-5: Spectrum>Lunar>EQ2>H9(ambience)
However, I'm thinking about moving swapping the H9, Ultrawave and Spectrum about. I might put the H9 next to the lunar and run stereo from the H9 onwards, then put the Spectrum in Loop 5 and the Ultrawave in loop 4. Maybe tomorrow....
