I found some previous posts here that claims it does, but unless I'm going deaf or just doing something wrong, it doesn't for me. I'll try again and maybe take a screenshot of my settings.

I was/am actually adjusting the blue dials (Bass, Mid A, Mid B, Treble). I just realized I'm dumb and I had the Clean blend set pretty high, which is why I wasn't hearing those knobs have much effect. I didn't realize the Clean engine still has some flavor to it and that ALL of the controls (including Drive, Clean, etc.) apply. My bad man.

Unrelated but also weird, is the "Noise Gate Threshold" dial supposed to have any effect if the blue "Enable Noise Gate" button is disabled but the Filter Gate is set (to Low, let's say)? Because for me it does. With that button disabled and Filter Gate set to low, the dial definitely affects the gate threshold.

I wish all of this was in the Aftershock manual PDF. The only reference I found to all of these settings is in the blog post: [Invalid or Expired Link Removed]

@Horgh - thanks for the SA blog link, hadn’t seen that… really useful info in there. I’ve been very lazy programming my aftershock presets… didn’t know it did half the stuff it does!! Further reading needed, I think.

Also, I’d never thought of using it for EQ only… I’ve got a few songs in registers / places on the fretboard that I don’t usually play. I could set myself a custom EQ preset for those songs and recall them from the song’s bank on my midi controller. Hmmm…

Finally! My reading of the blog post is that gate and filter gate are independent controls, so I think what you’re seeing is on spec.

Yes, I agree that noise gate and filter gate are independent controls, but I would then think that the noise gate threshold would only apply to the noise gate... but for me it definitely applies to the filter gate too.

Lastly, I'm having a real boomer time with this pedal and it's embarrassing. The PDF manual states that you can have 128 presets for the Aftershock. I only see 6 slots, 3 for the "green" and 3 for the "red" pedal mode. In some YouTube videos I see people with a laundry list of presets, is that only possible if the Aftershock detects a MIDI controller? Or is there a way for me to save something as one of those 128 presets? When I do a "Save As" I only see those 6 slots I mentioned.

Ok, I see where my reading comprehension went bad here. I assumed that this entire paragraph is talking about the Neuro Desktop, I didn't realize it mentions the Neuro Hub (another product). See attached.

If you are using a single pedal. Anything more than that and it’s probably better to use a Hub.

Is there anything special about the Neuro Hub or would any midi box be compatible? IE, Morningstar Midi Box has more outputs for pretty much the same price.
I'm not sure how closed the Source ecosystem really is and I'm just starting to look at midi control.

The Hub allows you to save multi-pedal scenes with a single press of a button, recallable via a single PC message. It’s a wonderful system and ahead of its time. I’m a bit sad to see it being overlooked in favour of recalling onboard presets on individual pedals, which requires multiple PCs.

The ease of use of the SA ecosystem with the NeuroHub and Soleman with five (5) SA pedals is unbelievable. I'm not an OCD Ritalin Kid looking to figure out how to spend more time trying to get everything to work, than to just go with it and enjoy the ride.

Not sure on that, but I would expect that if using the two button pedals with 5 din connection there may not be a need for another NeuroHub if using the Soleman.
