The Nemesis has midi ports too, but I've got everything connected through the hub with the Atlas on its own right now, since I only use one preset as an always on. Would the EQ2 and Nemesis pass through midi then, if I didn't get a second hub? I just figured two hubs would be the easiest way to get everything set up and organize all the scenes in the Neuro app.
Yes, i have my Nemesis, ventris and EQ2 all on 5 pin pass thru Midi chain. Just make sure you assign a unique Midi Channel to each one.
Yes I agree, an additional hub is a better way. Although direct Midi thru is a viable option. It will certainly work i the short term.If I had a choice between one way MIDI or 2 directional Hub communications.....I would go Hub all day long. One button scene-saving is a very nice benefit.
The EBS Blue Dot and Rockboard midi cables are both 5 core cabling. So fully connected and shielded, as per the 5 pin Midi standard. My Midi solutions Midi Thru box uses the =5v midi power and all of my chosen midi cables can carry the volts n the correct pin.Do the blue dots enable power over MIDI? They look a lot like the One Control MIDI cables, but those don't carry power.
