Shouldn’t true bypass always be Input 1 -> Output 1 and Input 2 -> Output 2? Or is there still some routing going on in that case?
In bypass, what you say is correct. The routing in bypass is direct. We when engaged, the routing can be one of many different options (stereo, sum to mono, cascade, parallel, etc).

... at least I think I'm going into true bypass. I've certainly got it set to that in the options, and I'm using the bypass CC message to bypass the pedal, but thinking about it I can't hear any relays clicking like I can when I do the same think with a C4.
Yes, relay clicking should be happening. If you think about it, the relays are making hard connections from in to out. Sum to mono (for example) is not happening in bypass.

Well, it has been reassembled. All I need to do is replace the tuner with an eq2 and get another hub and the full SA board will be complete.

Does anyone have a source for right angle midi cables?

Thanks for the reply.
There's definitely no audible relay clicking going on the UW for me (at least not to the extent of the C4).
I'm using CC 102 at values of either 0/127 to bypass and engage, but it's the same behaviour with either the foot switch or the On/Off State button in the editor.
Is there anything else that I should be checking? Is anyone else using true bypass that's able to confirm?
Cheers,
A

The OneControl ones look like one of the lowest profile ones I've seen, and you can change direction before the cable exits the shell. Pretty expensive though I think. I think there are some other rockboard ones (not flax) that are even more low profile, but I think with those you're kind of hamstrung with which direction they face, which might obscure other ins/outs on your pedals.

So this is what seems to happen...
If I put the pedal in bypass, then re-choose the true bypass in options i hear the relay go.
If I then re-engage the pedal, I hear the realy go again, but every subsequent bypass/enagage after that doesn't seem to trigger the relay, so presumably it's in buffered bypass mode.

Is there any way I can factory reset or redo the firmware?
Couldn't find any firmware.
Cheers,
A

EDIT:

Ok, I think I've worked it out.
I'm going mono in and stereo out.
If I either a) plug something into input 2 or b) unplug output 2 then true bypass works. Which, now I think about it makes sense becasue if it was in true bypass it wouldn't be able to send the mono in to both outputs (which is of course what you'd probably want it to do).
C4 works in exactly the same way.

It pays to check the Editors and Firmware page as there are updates, especially when new products make their appearance. Check to be sure you have the current Neuro and then check for any updates to the pedal when connected to Neuro. If you have Neuro on more than one device, don't overlook updating them all.

Looking at your board, you don’t actually need a 2nd hub. The EQ2 has full sized midi ports built into its chassis.
The best right angled midi cables aren’t currently available. These were the EBS Blue Dot range. However, the One Control or the Rockboard Flax series offer the nearest 2nd best.
The Rockboard flat midi cables are the lowest profile, the only problem is the cable routing is fixed and can’t be changed.
The new boss midi cables look good but are quite chunky.

The Nemesis has midi ports too, but I've got everything connected through the hub with the Atlas on its own right now, since I only use one preset as an always on. Would the EQ2 and Nemesis pass through midi then, if I didn't get a second hub? I just figured two hubs would be the easiest way to get everything set up and organize all the scenes in the Neuro app.

The Nemesis definitely can. I’ll be using all 5 outputs in my hub then using midi-thru to my Collider but could just as easily have the Collider first and run midi thru to the Hub.

If I had a choice between one way MIDI or 2 directional Hub communications.....I would go Hub all day long. One button scene-saving is a very nice benefit.

I'm leaning in that direction, especially since there's a chance of picking up more SA pedals and wanting to be able to control everything with the Soleman.

Do the blue dots enable power over MIDI? They look a lot like the One Control MIDI cables, but those don't carry power.
