I was thinking about setting up my bcr2000 to be something a little like this. Probably too much work though and not every setting is easily mappable to am encoder. Maybe an old phone, with an otg switchable usb hub... But then you've got issues if you're also using a preset manager like a hub or midi pedal

worked a treat. Input gain I could actually ballpark to get to react with the filters (plus it’s on the front knob) setting all the outputs to equalish gain and saving them was the main thing that worked! :)

it was actually your patches that had been the most bother @Quatschmacher - my input gain is way higher than yours , so on some of them I wasn’t triggering anything - till suddenly I was and it was blowing my head off!

I think most of my patches were done on passive basses, three different ones with heavy flatwounds mostly. All my patches were done with headphones. My input gain is generally around 10 o’clock.

The list of things we need to support software-wise is already out of control! Creating Neuro 3.0 is our highest priority at the moment.

How's it coming on? (excited)

Also, don't know if it was mentioned /requested..... Any way to get a numerical indicator by each slider adjustment for the C4 sequencer pitch controls?? On the desktop app.
That would be awesome, to be able to see (selected notes) at a glance, rather than tweaking slider to reveal and then not sure what the original actually was!

All of the items we heard about in the questionnaires are being addressed if we can. This one was in there for sure!

Just to be clear....adding numerical indication to controls is the objective. We will do so where we can.

regarding C4 and Collider with exp/CC, what do I want to control? Genre non-specific, bass guitar, eub, and e cello.

Looks like I got most of my questions answered by source audio eventually, but I do have one oddball.

Is it possible to stack or daisychain Neuro Hubs?

Specifically, I’m thinking of using one to hold presets for the series 1 pedals that don’t have the additional memory to do so and then using a second one just store scenes for multiple pedals. Is that something that’s possible or practical?

That certainly sounds reasonable. One hub for the pedals that don’t have 128 presets internally, one for the newer pedals that do have 128 internal presets. Then just run midi from one to the other. That definitely seems plausible.

I picked up a C4 recently and I'm still on the learning curve to create my own presets.

In the meantime is there a preset that someone has created to give the 80's style synth bass? We're doing a couple of things with the band currently that I'd like to use it on - West End Girls, Cars, etc.

Once I'm more adept at doing my own I will work on them but hoping there's something I can start with.

I've been going through the user uploaded library and haven't found one yet that gives what I'm looking for.

What bass do you use?? Most of the patches will need the input gain to be tinkered with too which will help with tracking and getting the patch to sound right so to speak (whether it was made with active/passive bass)

Thanks for the tip - I was aware that the input needs to be adjusted for tracking but didn't realize that it could affect the sound of the patch.

I play a Ken Lawrence jazz style which is active - I'll look at input info more closely as I'm going through them.

I did a couple of searches with different terms and got more results so going through them today - the learning curve is steeper than I expected :)

If you think about it, anything that uses distortion or an envelope is dependent on the input level!

Yeh the search engine doesn't work that well at times. Think they are going to sort it out in the overhaul which is on the way though.
