Dude multi quote is your friend. Just sayin...
And Lee would say Mesa, or GK
And I would say Carvin or Thunderfunk
And Jeff would say Thunderfunk
And Chris would say good old Ampeg SVT classic
And Sethro would say Ampeg SVT 7pro
And someone would say Aguilar DB 750
And the list goes on........lol
Cuz were all opinionated bass snobs......lol
I mean gear snobs...

My first bass amp was a Roland JC120 that I picked up for like 100 bucks in 86. Then after about a year I realized that it wasn't a bass ampso I went and picked up my 400+. I still have both amps and after playing nothing but tubes I have yet to find a light hybrid or SS that I care for. I actually had some indept phone conversations with Jule the week and am seriously considering picking up a rack mount pre and running it through my Crown XTI2000. If the works both 400+'s are gone. I am keeping the Roland though sounds great with acoustic bass. So hopefully that will end my quest for the Spector tone I am looking for.

Hey guys, I have my Euro opened up, smadder set up is removed and I'm in the process of installing the BQC system. Things were going so well. I just got to the point where I realized one of the holes needs to be drilled. Ugh. No drill. So what size drill bit is this? Any tips?
Also, does anyone have a picture of the inside of your cavity with a BQC installed?
I wouldn't use a drill. Use a reamer which is so much easier and it took me only 2 minutes per hole when I had to widen them on my NS-JH5. I picked it up at Ace Hardware for $20 and it was the greatest buy I could have ever done. They didn't sell it at Home Depot for some odd reason but if you have an Ace Hardware near you, they carry them.
Are any of you guys playing Genz Benz?
I've got a Shuttle 6.0, which I got after years of playing Eden. I am curious about the Thunderfunk heads.
Hmm... Photobucket (or my computer) looks like it didn't link the pic of my rig, so I'll try again...
EDIT - Still didn't - I'll try it again later.

When Larry finally gets tired of me, I will join you. Isn't the Cab super heavy?
superdick2112 said:Yes, but so worth it. The entire rig weighs about as much as an SVT head & 8x10 cab.
Jeff and I both have Thunderfunk 550B's. The timbre knob is awesome on these amps! I would like to try the new TB800 but dont have a spare $2000 laying around.........
yes, I have a shuttle 9.0 as my "little" head. I pair it with a Hartke hydrive 112. Sounds frickin' great. Love that head and cab. I've used it with my hydrive 410 also with great success. Typically, if I'm using the 410, I pair my LH1000 with it. I really like my Hartke gear. Rumor has it is Hartke should be putting out a micro-head this next year. If they do, I'll definitely be A/B-ing it against my current shuttle.
