Here's a a few pictures to remind you of the bass. It's awesome. Thinnest / fastest neck of any Spector I've played. Perfect balance. Beautifully flamed, solid maple wings. Brass bridge. And the killer Aggy. It's my blonde, poor man's Forte. :bassist:

I'm putting here for the club first, as I want it to stay here if possible. PM me for the club price.

I'll get some better pics tomorrow in the sunlight but here are a couple of shots of the new (to me) Euro4. Serious props go to the tree that grew that quilty-goodness. And that's no sandwich. Those wings are some sweet, solid maple! :bassist:

Also, I took a quick up-the-skirt shot when I swapped out the batteries (plural...it's modded for 18v). What is this pre? I've only had/used aggies.

I'm also getting the neck shaved on mine so it's thinner than the normal USA neck. Plus they'll send me photos so I can pick the wood used. Too cool!

What sold me on the wood and color was a picture that Todd Cooke sent me of a bass from his collection. An NS2 that was built for Doug Wimbish but he passed on it and Todd bought it. Here it is...

I absolutely love the Walnut stain!!! My Buddy Alan has a Walnut stained NS-4 with an ebony fretboard & black hardware that I almost bought from him. It is such an amazing looking bass. I used to have a great pic of him with both his NS-4s, but i deleted it. Patrick might have it, it was on the Spector site for a while.

I think that bass does win the award for best quilted solid maple Euro.

I have seen some amazing flame maple Euros but never a solid wing quilt that is "that quilted" :bassist:

That is EMG BTS Circuit.
Not sure what strings you use but Pro Steels IMHO match really well with that Pre in a Solid maple Euro.

Wouldn't have thought it possible, but The Blue Dream just got even dreamier. Nice touch. Hopefully they sound as good as they look!

Congratulations!

Attached are the Legend Custom and Legend Classic knob setups. Not sure if you have a custom or classic. So I'm covering the basses. :D

Yes. There should be a hex screw on the bottom side of the bridge (by the knobs) which you need to loosen. Then you can set intonation. It takes a little getting used to. But it's not difficult once you get the hang of it.

Thanks! How do I tell if it is a custom or classic? Which is more desirable? It plays very nice...I just have a little more tweaking.

Yup, the tube quilt definitely adds to the order time. Mine took about 10 months, but was worth it!!
