Ice I think that is a thread record, you posted 14 times on one page :p

Multi-quote doesn't work for ya?

I'm just joshin' ya I know you got a lot to catch up on, good to see you feelin better :D
D Yeah...if I'm not napping off the recent surgery healing, I'm busting on music...gearing up for an outdoor festival in Indian River, Mi., "Rhythm on the River", my P&W band is playing this Friday night. Then there's still the 3 hour Tue.night gig with continuously revolving songs weekly...yeah I multi-quote most times but I get lazy at times...:D
Don't necessarily need a number, but I'm the one who snagged this beauty....:bassist:

Will be here tomorrow.....:hyper:
A beauty! Congratulations!
alright guys, Todd sent me a pic of the photoshop mock up that he sent to PJ for final approval. What do you guys think??

It's exactly what I envisioned in my minds eye when talking to him about the different options. I can't wait to see what it looks like after it's had the matte finish treatment!

Big ups to Todd for taking the time to do this and giving me something to drool over while I wait! This is just one of the many reasons he's at the top of my Spector dealer list! :bassist:
Out of THE ballpark gorgeous!

So I have a super-technical question for you guys - what do you do to keep yourself from tripping over your cable when gigging?

I ask because even when I am on a long cable, I just don't feel as "free" to move as I do with a wireless. But for the big show in a couple weeks we've been asked not to bring wireless devices unless it's absolutely necessary. So I have a good 20' new cable ready to go.

I typically loop it through my bottom strap button so it can't pull out of the jack, but that doesn't keep you from stepping on it or worse. Just curious to see what everyone's experience has been.

Tell them it's absolutely necessary. :D

I love my Line6 G50. 12 channels in the 2.4ghz range. I haven't run into any interference or stepping on signals. I really dislike always stepping on a cable. I even use my wireless for rehearsal.

On the few occasions I had to use a cable, I have a 31' Monster Bass Guitar cable. Flexible, strong, good signal and long enough to (mostly) run around my playing area.

IMHO YMMV

I pretty much do the same thing.

Tell me about it. I'm not doing Kip Winger pirouettes or anything, but somehow the thing winds up around my ankle.

Normally it's not a problem since we'd be playing on a tight stage or in front of two layers of band gear, but some of the shows this past month or so and the future shows have roomy stages so I'd like to be as active as possible since some of the other guys aren't as active, and people have said we could be more energetic. Easy to say - maybe they should try to play this stuff, sing backups and jump around at the same time!

That's a good tip. Typically I had plugged the bass directly into my rack tuner and then ran two cables two and from the pedalboard, but I have a tuner on my pedalboard now so I will be plugged into that directly at the front of the stage so the tape is necessary I think.

Go wireless and bring the cable as back up, they are only afraid of the signals getting mixed up so if you have a switch to change that would be a second chance before putting the cable into action....if you have the room to move then I say use the opportunity!

All that matters is that you keep on talking Brother, I like what you have to say even if you don't do the multi-quote thing!

I knew you would have the answer....lets keep this guy rocking rather than landing on his butt all twisted up in cords! lol

OK, I'm lost, which bass are we talking about? lol

This is the Euro4 I bought from brotherbassj. :bassist: It's a 34" TW upgraded with DCs and a USA 18v plus kill switch.

My USA NS-5 should be done sometime soon too, but Todd says we won't know until it ships out to him. That's when he gets notified.

This is a sweet bass and I'm sure you will like it...but...are you sleeping well these days know your stuff from Woodstock is almost home????

Thanks! Though it does look like I'm gonna have to sell the Euro5 and NS4CR to pay off the NS-2 build.

You know I thought I was going to have to sell some basses but everything is falling into place and the only set back is building up the funds for a future Coda build (only if they would build me a Coda P-bass with a 1.625 nut)....do you think they would build me one????

Hey guys,
I just stumbled across a used Bubinga Legend 4 bolt on locally, older model with the PJ HZ setup and 3 band EQ - I did a little looking here on TB on past sales but I wanted some opinions on a fair price for this - looks to be in decent shape, all original parts.
What do you think it's worth - no bag/case, just the bass.
My Coda Pro 4 may have to wait another few weeks, very few Spector basses come up for sale here locally so I may jump on this one if I can get it for the right price.
