Just returned from a Celebration of Life Memorial Service for a wonderful lady who was one of our guitar players in our church band, Mary Krawinkle. Always a bubbly, joyous person that just loved life and music so very much. A voice of an Angel! Mary passed on to the next life 2 weeks ago, H1N1 took her. There were close to 300 in attendance. We had a very full stage with church choir, Praise Band and key speakers. My wife recorded us playing & singing. A very upbeat service. I can only hope that my memorial will be that awesome. Peace everyone:) (Time for a nap before Michigan beats Texas in the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament:D )

Sounds great Ice! Seems like the service matched the woman. Sorry to hear she passed. Music is such an amazing vehicle for human expression. :)

+1! Driving will still cost us in the neighborhood of $550-700.00, depending on gas prices. :ninja: Crazy! And that's not including other expenses such as hotels, food, souvenirs etc...

We are driving too, but it's been about 4 years since we had any time alone (our daughter turns 4 in a week). My wife and I love to drive so we will probably make it in one day. We are looking forward to some time together. As for the souvenir part.......... Well, that's yet to be decided, and it won't be cheap, but it will be fun........

Thanks Pele! Music is the universal language & connection for sure:bassist:

Who knows, Maybe we'll meet on the road some where. No children here...empty nest for 14-15 years now. We love traveling.

NSD...something to play with while I wait for my new build.

I remember back a few threads we had some discussion about gig bags vs. soft cases. This is the SKB molded soft case that I bought for this bass. It fits the Spector body shape very well, with little slop. I got it for 15% off too, which is always cool.

I don't know what it is, but these, and the NS-BO are beautiful! Really makes me lean towards saving up for a Legend 6!

Nice Legend, the soft case looks great also...it looks like it has a lot of storage compartments!

Would i be correct in assuming that the EMG SSD housing is the same as the DC and CS housings

Sure looks the same to me, but haven't measured.

Yes it is; 3.5" on four strings basses increasing a half inch per string, hence the 35/40/45 sizing denominations ;)

Actually, No.
While I can't speak for the 4 or 5's,
when switching to DC's on two different Legend 6's,
the routes had to be reamed out ever so slightly.

The SSD housings seem to be just a hair smaller.
