For one... I find my self resting my forearm/elbow area on the back "wing" which seems quite comfortable... Seen a video of John entwistle playing his buzzard and it just makes sense now why he plays like that however I don't keep my bass as high as him. Also the placement of the strap peg behind the neck makes it a lot more free flowing when standing... A bit odd at first but now it just feels like I have w lot more freedom. Wide strap helps because there can be a neck dive... Well there definitely is a neck dive but with where my right arm rests.. I doesnt even happen.
The neck on the Rex5 also feels much thinner and a flatter radius which is nice. It's fun to play lol
