Squier Affinity Jaguar Bass...H?!

I've been watching the classifieds but before I order one elsewhere - anybody who swapped their pickguard want to sell me the old one? Ideally black but open to others.
Update from this post - the Jaguar has been my main bass since then and I'm loving it. Still don't use the bridge pickup much, but I do occasionally. I ordered a second Donlis and it showed up yesterday. I've decided I hate sliders, so I'll go with two switches and make it pretty when I get a new pickguard.
I also remembered that I hate stacked pots, so I think I'll just go volume/volume (at least for now...)

Woke up a bit early this morning so I was able to get the new pickup semi-installed. I say semi because I messed up my switch so I think series doesn't work... top position in the diagram here, middle and down work just fine. But I hate wiring, so I'm going to leave it as is until I get a new switch, pots and pickguard.
Only had a couple minutes to play and now I'm off to work, but already I like it way more than the stock pickup in the bridge, way more usable sound. Both pickups tapped sounds particularly nice. I'm usually not a bridge pickup guy anyway, this is all just for fun and to practice routing and wiring rather than something I think I'll get a tonne of use out of, so I'm happy regardless but we'll see if it really grows on me with time or not.

I got a orange on from 2022 production date and it was made in Indonesia and has terrible neck dive. Maybe a heavier bridge and ultra-lite tuners may help - but I wasn´t sure if it would be enough.
I will send mine back and wait for a 2023 model or some other (maybe earlier ones?) which doesn´t neck dive so much.

I dont think they have made any changes to it, the only thing that would affect neck dive is luck of the build in how heavy the neck and body woods are.
I just thought that maybe they moved production to China (as they did with the CV P-Basses) and then it could be that the balance issues could be different.
If anything it's the other way around. The original colors were China, the newer ones are Indonesia. I wonder if the original colors are now also being moved to Indonesia. Regardless, neck dive is the main complaint on the China ones as well.
Anyone knows which Hipshot tuner model would be a drop-in replacement for these Squier basses? They are shared among many other Squiers, but no Hipshot model appears to match it even remotely (perhaps an HB7?) My only Squier bass uses HB7, though the shape is more similar to Mexican P bass tuning machines, unlike these and many other Squiers.
Thanks to anyone that could be of assistance. It is no urgent matter, but some of these affordable Squier basses are tempting, and I would prefer to add an X-tender if I ever get this or any other Squier with this sort of tuning machines. Not enthused about drilling new holes.

I have one of the first run of those orange basses and no neck dive, I did immediately fit a high mass bridge and bartolini pickup tho?
What scale length strings do I get for this bass?

I got one from the second run and I really like the sound.Neck's on the biggish side but no deal breaker.It does swan dive though.Did the new bridge help?
Here's mine FSR version with painted headstock, full overlay pickguard, new pots and jack, Bartolini pickup - love it!

Weighs 3.5kg, slightly top heavy but I've got some resolites that should be a drop in.
Kinda frustrating 'cos when I tuned it up, the action was perfect. The intonation was spot on too.
When I took out a tuner to estimate the possible weight reduction, all 4 screws came out straight, not slanted. Kinda weird.
I took the pickguard off for fun and all the screws came out straight also.
Normal is the new cool.
Because there are some slanted screws on my Am Perf pickguard and I've seen it on tuners in the past.
It doesn't bother me, folks have to work fast but I just imagined it would be worse going down the line.
