Star Trek: Picard

Patrick Stewart is a beautiful man and Jonathan Frakes looks great. Handsome bastard. If that hair has been worked on it's some good work. Marina Sirtis ruined her face. Just let age happen. It's okay.

Marina hasn't had work done (not on her face, anyway). She looks just like a woman of Mediterranean extraction in her early 60s should look.

They brought back 7 of 9 and took all the air out of the character. Now shes just a very attractive, older, mercenary woman with some electronic crap on her face.
and the pilot is a 2d version of Han Solo.
They definitely have missed the mark tapping into the potential however its exponentially better than DS9/Enterprise/Voyager/Discovery drivel.

Nice reunion pic on the set of Picard.

Troi's had way too much work done on her face.

I'm going to assume these comments came out of sincere ignorance, and not any desire to be destructive.

Objectification theory (Fredrickson & Roberts, 1997) postulates that many women are sexually objectified and treated as an object to be valued for its use by others. Sexual Objectification occurs when a woman’s body or body parts are singled out and separated from her as a person and she is viewed primarily as a physical object of male sexual desire (Bartky, 1990). Objectification theory posits that Sexual Objectification of females is likely to contribute to mental health problems that disproportionately affect women (i.e., eating disorders, depression, and sexual dysfunction) via two main paths. The first path is direct and overt and involves Sexual Objectification experiences. The second path is indirect and subtle and involves women’s internalization of Sexual Objectification experiences or self-objectification (Fredrickson & Roberts, 1997).

It was cool when Patrick Stewart personally invited Whoopi Goldberg to reprise Guinan. I always wanted to know more of Guinans story. Would also be cool if they figured out how to get Will Wheaton back in a way that had some meaning and depth and was not a drive by cameo.
They could bring back Q with her too. They had a history, and she apparently has some sort of powers that can hurt Q.

All we know about El-Aurians is they're good listeners who can naturally make others trust them. They're a fascinating species. And Wesley was there for Riker and Troi's wedding so he apparently stopped exploring other planes of existence with the traveler and rejoined Starfleet. So he's around somewhere.

Do you put a lot of thought and energy into policing my words and thoughts or is it more of a fleeting urge you indulge from time to time?

Well there are three episodes left. Seven of Nine is gonna do something on the cube with Elnor. Picard and company have to find the planet with the red lightning sky. The blonde lady's murder of Maddox is gonna be revealed. I think that's all we're gonna get before season 2. The truth behind the synths and the Romulan's role in it all probably isn't gonna be revealed till next season.

I think we'll get a scene in the final episode with the Enterprise, under Captain Worf, warping in to help Picard & co just when everything looks hopeless and they're surrounded by Romulans. Wouldn't put it past them to have Geordi make an appearance too, since Dorn and Burton have both been photographed on set.
