ive not tried channel jumping yet, usually just use channel 1 on my SVT-HD. sounds like something i should try...

just use a normal guitar cable or is there a need for a TRS (tip ring sleeve) balanced cable?

No stereo signal being carried here so normal instrument cable is what you need.

Yeah just a short cable, like what you would use between your effects pedals.

I've always just used regular patch/instrument cables when bridging channels on my amps. I can't think of any reason you'd need a balanced cable.

Whoa. What prompted you to post this? It's a small world. PTWKAF are a local band, (well they don't play anymore). The bassist is a friend and has a new Band called Father Figures.

I just want to throw down my endorsement for the Tech 21 Red Ripper instead of a muff clone I recently got that and the bass XXL OD and they both have pretty awesome sounds.

You can get a crazy fz-2 style fuzz out of the Red Ripper but it retains a lot better note clarity. In some ways it reminds me of a Wooly Mammoth but more versatile.

I have a Voodoo Lab Pedal Power 2 Plus which is what I'm assuming fuzz got. I didn't research them. My wife surprised me with it and a pedal board on my birthday a couple years ago. She asked my guitarist what he used and bought me it.

It's a great investment. A little pricey but versatile and you'll never worry about power again.

I have the T. Rex Fuel Tank jr. and it`s been really good to me. It has less isolated power outs than the Pedal Power that Laz uses but it`s also a bit cheaper in price. Mine has 5 isolated out(great to keep effects noise free),every power connection you might need(line 6,Boss type,reverse"telephone" type) and a daisy chain to power 5 more effects. I`ve got 9 effects on my board all powered by the Fuel Tank jr.

I got the Catalinbread SFT (I wanna run it at 18v), Pitchblack tuner, Old boss chorus, Ibanez Flanger, Memory toy, Wah, Mojo Hand Colossus fuzz, and I'll prob throw a Rat in there. I don't really know what pedals to chain and which to keep isolated. I know when I daisy chain everything from my tuner I don't get a lot out of my Flanger or Chorus

Apparently there's a bunch of versions. There's a TS9DX locally for $70.

Eh nm looks like its straight from GC and unmodded.

I got the Catalinbread SFT (I wanna run it at 18v), Pitchblack tuner, Old boss chorus, Ibanez Flanger, Memory toy, Wah, Mojo Hand Colossus fuzz, and I'll prob throw a Rat in there. I don't really know what pedals to chain and which to keep isolated. I know when I daisy chain everything from my tuner I don't get a lot out of my Flanger or Chorus

i have had no issues with my dunlop DC brick. and it provides 3 18V outputs.

The Fuel tank has a connecter piece that will power a 18 volt pedal by using 2 of the 9 volt outs. I would play around and see which pedals benefit the most from using an isolated out. My delay needs to use an isolated out but some of my fuzz effects seem to be less noisy when I power them with a isolated out too. The rest of effects that work fine I just power using the daisy chain.
