Actually it is. I tried to use channel 2 to add bass but It didn't really, so i cranked channel 1's bass and used channel 2 for more highs. I think I even use the ultra high on channel 2.

channel two is loosely based on the B15 preamp (baxandall circuit).

That's how I get the hint of grunt on the note when I match the two channels. I run 2 just a little hotter then 1.

I play both finger style and with a pick, just depends on the song. Sometimes I mix both within a song too. There's such a wide breadth of influence and tone within these genres that I agree there really are no rules. Whatever sounds good IS good. Better to do whatever you think sounds good and do your own thing.

More jamming with the new to me SVT CL last night, loving it. Got to play it with an old Eminence loaded Acoustic 215 alongside an 810, with my Precision, very nice. Still haven't had a chance to play my SB4000 through it, which I'm looking forward to. The amp really swallows up my main fuzz though, further highlighting what I've been saying for months, that I need to get a new more bass friendly fuzz. Though I keep thinking maybe a clean blend might get the job done just fine.

I started out years ago with a pick...moved to fingaz...now cant play with a pick for crap!...wish I could, but I just suck at it now!.....

I can tell you from experience that the Bluebeard works with an SVT-CL great!

I use a triangle Big Muff clone that a friend made for me.

I've been waiting on selling off some gear to buy a new fuzz, but nothing has sold locally. Probably going to keep waiting, as I just got a $900 vet bill for one of our cats who had bladder stones.

Lo-Pan made a music video. Personally I think it's rather boring and I was waiting for "something" to happen and it never did, but these guys kick ass and are awesome dudes. Love their music.
