My girlfriend got me the same thing(s) for Christmas and my birthday. Absolutely cleaned up my board, leaving more room for more pedals!
I owned a mxr brick and had no troubles with it. Pretty small unit, it fit on the underside of my pedaltrain jr nicely.
Since we're on the topic... if you limit your pedalboard to 5 or less pedals, is there any benefit to going to a big brick rather than using a 1Spot daisychain? This is assuming you don't need any 18v, all standard.
I've tried to keep myself to 5-on-the-board at any one time, I know the day I go nuts and build a 15 effect board, it'll disappear from some bar and I'll realize I'm out over $1500.
I recall Tom Morello mentioned one time that any of his sounds for the duration of a show can be achieved with just 5 pedals on-board, maybe I was dreaming but it sounded like a cool theory.

Well a 1Spot daisy chain may or may not allow electrical interference into your sound. Depends on the pedals you're using and the outlet you're plugging in to. Something like the Pedal Power that I use has an isolated connection for each pedal and conditions the power coming from the source outlet.

Someone should cover that with electric guitars, bass, drums and vocals. That would be heavy.
so ive avoided it so far... but I may just have to start a soundcloud and post up some recordings we did recently at a jam for you guys to hear.. this isnt Nagato, but a side project with the guitarist, a young drummer we know and myself. Its all instrumental, and everything we did was just spontaneous, unrehearsed, unscripted, and Im really diggin some of it... the stuff Im not really really diggin, have ideas that could be worked into good stuff, but just wasnt first player wonders.... Ill see if I can get em up this weekend.

Once my Magma sells I'm pretty sure I'll be ordering one of these fearful Duallys. I'm not huge on how they look aesthetically but it is a result of the composite design. I AM huge on the idea of a 215 that's loud as **** that I can carry with one hand though.

Laz: we've been on a bit of a hiatus since like Oct. We played a show back then after SHOD, and then our drummer, who has a family with like 3 kids was in the middle of finalizing the sale of his house and moving.. so we played like one show from Dec. thru February... and since then he has been devoting his time to his other band that is going to Roadburn in a few weeks... so we wont even get together until the end of next month.... its been driving us nuts, thats why we started another project, which is shaping up nicely and quick!

Have you looked at some of the big LDS cabs? His prices are good and he's supposed to be great to deal with.
