Sunn Beta Lead, I'm coming to the conclusion I'm fvcked, so I'm looking at other options, most likely SVT but who knows.
Do you know what the issue with the Matamp is? Mine had a screen resistor that was shorting out because the vibrations caused it to touch the chassis. I just placed some electrical tape between the resistor and chassis and haven't had a problem since.
Check the bottom of the resistor for scorch marks. If anyone if them is scorched then its an easy fix
I'm bypassing the Band Management forum for this one, because I don't feel like reading super serious lay the hammer down responses...
I was just talking with my little brother, who books shows for metalcore bands locally. Someone sent him a message asking if his "band", that doesn't have bass or vocals yet and isn't totally finished with their songs, could play some shows. I guess my brother tried to tell him as diplomatically as possible "finish your songs, get a full band together, record a demo and get back to me" and the kid didn't understand what he meant. "Dude, we just want to play!".
If they were a two piece instrumental band it would be no thing. Intent is everything I guess.

Probably young kids who feel they're entitled to be booked a gig. This is what house shows are for, where no one cares how drunk or how bad you are.
That's almost exactly what I said. House shows are band practice in front of people.
Not entirely, it's been to the tech twice already, once for a retube after they shipped it with the tubes in the socket and they broke, after that got fixed for the blown fuses. Once I hear from Matamp what my options are, which doesn't include having the tech troubleshoot their fvck up, I'll drop it off.
Regardless, even having something like your problem is not an excuse, I'm not going to look past things like that because I like the way the amp sounds, there are a ton of awesome sounding amps out there, and having one I can't trust and where I don't get support from the builder, makes no sense to me to own it.
And to top this all off I've been battling with Chevy/car dealer over the lemon of a car I bought 2 years ago, FINALLY getting the entire engine replaced under warranty.
I would never degrade myself with a skullet! How dare you Sir!! I demand a apology! lol Years ago I did the whole long hair and sideburns look.So I had a bunch of rad years with my hair. Kinda funny,people always thought I was this peace loving hippy type dude right up till I either cranked the stereo with Converge or started talking bout my gun collection and general dislike of jam bands.
Yeah I told my girl to get used to the idea of me shaving it(or buzzing it down ala jason statham). It`s not to that point yet but I can tell Im working on getting that early Rob Corddry look. I just tell myself that I`m so into the music even my hair line is DooM(ed)!
At least I can grow a pretty sweet beard/chops/side burns. I just got to slim down. Nobody wants to be fat,bald and have a neck beard. I`ll look like a local Dom Deluise.

Haha, it wasn't supposed to be. I wanted the Matamp to be awesome for him so I could try it out. I'm pretty bummed he's having issues with it, although not as much as he is I suppose. 
Tym's has got to be the coolest place on the planet. Did you see Heavy Blanket when they were there?
