SO we didnt get the Torche show, I guess their touring with 2 or 3 other bands.

BUT, I guess my guitarist knows someone from Karma to Burn, they may play a show with us on my birthday show, but were not really celebrating it because we've played at the Cactus Club a couple times and celebrating my 21st there would kinda be wierd since theyve been serving me the past few months...

Playing catch up today, got a chance to play the Nobels Phaser, can get some crazy oscillation out of it, has tones of knobs to diddle lol, but still dig the VFE Enterprise more, so if any one wants a great deal on a cool phaser, hit me up. One pot is a little scratchy, not terrible and shows wear but great sounds. I just picked it up for $25 so $25 plus shipping it is yours. Thought I would let the Doomers know before I slap it on the classifieds.

Man I forgot how fun it was to play a Strat, so glad I decided to snatch this 1989 Made in Korea Squier II Strat at the Harrisburg GC. I plugged it in to a little 5 watt tube Vox and knew it was going home with me. Love how the pick guard has yellowed. Strat plus fuzz plus phaser is just yummy!!! This thing has a killer neck and the pups have killer tone. The old Squire II Pbasses, the ones that don't have pickguards, have killer Pbass tone too and great necks too. Got my Squier on!!!

I'm interested. It says remote at the top of the faceplate. What's that about?

Yes it is a 3015 non lf.

Just an FYI for anyone doubting. The 3015 in a Mesa diesel/ tl606 style cab sounds heavenly! Can't wait for practice on Tuesday. Then I will get a real idea of how it sounds. I am going to build another tl606 cab for sure.

Anyone know what the going rate for a blown EV L speaker?

YES!!!

May not be the lightest weight cab out there, but it will be loud as hell. IMO, you need two to really feel it and the more watts, the better. I bridged my amp at 4 ohms for 1100 watts. It ate that sh1t up and asked for more.

You can add a footswitch, to turn the pedal on and off remotely, not sure why someone would use it. All the Nobels have that, I had the Transparent Overdrive before, and that was a great pedal. It really is cool, goes from subtle chorus to spacey phaser. The chorus sounds actually convinced me to hook my Boss Bass Chorus that I have listed for sale back up to give it another test ride before I sold it and I think I am keeping the chorus around lol.

Nice! how much?

I'm debating whether I should just upgrade my strat copy, or get myself a Squier classic vibe or something.

Torche is going on tour with ken mode and (for some east coast shows) Lo Pan.

I really can't think of a good example of a band who has been able to put out a record that was as good or even comparable to their heyday material 20+ years after the fact.

Anyone?

Deep Purple. Rapture of the Deep is pretty fvcking good.

Hi guys. Been a while- knee deep in school, moving to Jacksonville, NC in two weeks and I'm recovering from surgery.

My bass gear is mostly packed up for the move. I don't have time to play right now anyway.

Glad to see y'all are keeping it doomie. I think I missed 3 threads!
