Pretty sure I'm supposed to own this amp, LOL

I actually love the sound of this amp, at least in the video. It makes me want to pick up a guitar...to bad it's $2500.





Any of you guys familiar with the old Tuck and Roll Kustom PA stuff? My band is looking into a practice PA and they can be had for pretty cheap. And running the dual vertical 4x12 stacks on bass would be pretty DOOM.

I feel like if you have an amp with a master volume / pre gain then it won't really matter. I've started using "fender" type controls on my Jet City. Master all the way up, overdrive to set volume. it's beautiful.

I don't really see how that would work? Doesn't master all the way up and then using pre gain to adjust volume maximize headroom? That's the opposite of what I want.

With the advancements in technology and how cheap stuff is. I don't see how you can buy a quasi real pa that you can gig with in multiple situations. I actually took a power amp I was using for a bass rig then bought a small mixer and a couple 15's with horns. I could easily haul the pa by myself and use it for most situations. Total wrapped up in my basement pa is about $600 and you can do it for less then that. Granted that's minus cables and mics so maybe a little more.

It's the difference in tone between saturated power tubes / saturated pre tubes.

I'm about to start looking for a band. My dirt rocker guitar buddy dismissed himself from the project and my VA guitar buddy has been too busy to even listen to the tracks. We got to record this demo in the semi-famous Black Lodge in Eudora, KS. I played (guitar) through a rig that nearly made me **** my pants: Hiwatt 50, all knobs turned to 11, and fender 2x15 cab

Chartreuse makes me go to jail. I never choose it, but somehow it finds its way on stage to me. The first time, I was in Jefferson City, MO, woke up in KC, and told my guitar player to murder a cop half way through. Luckily he didn't.

Thanks man. Yeah the V8 is a great amp. I wish more amps had half the features it has (half power switch, 2nd gain stage, simple EQ, etc) It needs tubes right now which I've been putting off. 8 KT88's ain't cheap.

I've been loving your gear since I saw your rig in some random thread (about the V8 I think) where you, and Tom Bowlus, and several others, were just posting these crazy rigs. Dude, you have killer taste in gear. I probably speak for all of us when I say I got some gear envy.
