One thing I learned pretty quickly after getting back into bass is that everything is system specific. I've heard the same everything though multiple enclosures and the outcome was always different. Some good, some bad, some great. I think with enclosures it is s leap of faith more times than not

Since the EP is almost finished being mixed we figured we better settle on a name. So, now we have a name, bandcamp, FB, all that. Nothing on them at the moment, they just went up last night. I think we'll be posting jams on soundcloud soon. Links below...

Well what was mentioned is still accurate. From a power distribution stand point, a 115 is going to reach its limit before a 410 so you are better off not mixing them and going with two of the same cab. I haven't played either cab, but I'm in love with 15s right now. Rocking two of those PF15s would probably sound pretty awesome. Ampeg is pretty common. You don't have a store where you can try them out?

As DL movies go, it's probably the only one I watch with any regularity. although, I will admit to watching "Dune" about a hundred times or so. (I'm pretty sure he did that.)

and "Crash" had some good naughty bits, as did "Mulholland Dr."

Anyway, it's better than any Cronenburg flick

considering the wait times for a new one, it's a good deal. i think the one you are talking about is an older model without the tone bypass switch though, right?

I personally think it makes the pedal so much more versatile, of course if you are handy with that sort of stuff I imagine it would be a very easy mod to do yourself.

I saw a band last weekend where the cool chick bassist was using an Ampeg 4x10 on top of an Ampeg 1x15, and if my memory serves an Ampeg SVT3Pro. I thought her tone was awesome. Thats a 4 ohm setup so the 3Pro could breath a bit better and it didnt seem like she was struggling to hear herself.

I don't buy the "don't mix cabs" thing. I say keep adding any cabs you want until you max out your amp's minimum load and it'll probably end up sounding sweet :bassist:

Well I called dibs on it. Personally I don't see the necessity of the tone bypass thing unless you were using it as a boost. Is there really that much tonal difference between bypassing the pot and just turning it to the max? Please no graph theories and such, I'm talking about in real life when you're pumping so much gain that subtle nuances don't mean sh*t

Thats why I love this thread, you can't really say that anywhere else
