i thought it sounded great but it i found the input gain too sensitive and hard to set. I don't typically get a lot of time to setup at shows and dialing it in just right for a clean tone and one with fuzz in front was too hard.
The super fatman is not exactly easy to set up but it doesn't seem as sensitive as the mini mu to how much input gain is going into it so when i turn the fuzz on the filter is still stays in the sweet spot i set it to.
yeah you're right actually - took me forever to get the levels etc right, but it was worth it in the end. the internal charge pump is a godsend too, why don't more people do that?
did you fiddle with the trimpots at all? i haven't even looked inside yet.
